Yawning, an exhausted and disheveled Jeongin walked through the hallway lazily.

His bag felt like it was filled with rocks and his eyes felt so heavy, yet Jeongin still continued to walk to his apartment door all the way on the other side of the hallway. Being a med student was definitely not easy. 

Despite being able to go home at 7 o'clock everyday, he hated that he had to wake up insanely early and spend 12 exhausting hours studying and sometimes assisting some doctors as part of their training.

And right now, he was only thinking about one thing, sleep.

After fumbling with his keys for a few seconds, Jeongin finally managed to open the door and enter inside his apartment.

Jeongin gave a sigh of relief, but then he let out a desperate gasp at the sight before him.

Shredded paper were everywhere, the remains of what seemed to be a shattered vase was scattered along the floor, his photo frames filled with pictures of his family and friends were all fallen on the ground, his precious books and novels, everything , was on the ground, either broken or shattered into smithereens.

And on the couch, sat an unbothered cat-hybrid, its tail moving slowly as its cold gaze pierced at Jeongin.

Jeongin bit his lip and stared at the mess blankly. 

Jeongin has came home to his apartment looking like as if a tornado was there countless of times so he wasn't that surprised that his apartment was no less than a shipwreck.  Hyunjin, the cat-hybrid he fostered 2 months ago, practically hates him.

Jeongin couldn't possibly think of what he had done to make Hyunjin despise him so much. 

It all started when one of his best friends , Jisung, called him 3 months prior. Jisung told him about how an illegal hybrid trading post got caught and how all of those hybrids would either have to be put down or put in an animal shelter that would most likely mistreat them.

Jisung also told him about a cat-hybrid he found at the shelter and thought of adopting, Minho was his name if Jeongin wasn't mistaken. But the problem was, Minho didn't want to be adopted unless his brother, Hyunjin, also found a home.

So Jisung asked all his friends whether they would like to take in the other hybrid, and coincidently, Jeongin was considering of getting a pet or hybrid, so Jeongin agreed to foster Hyunjin for a few months before deciding whether to adopt him or not.

At first, Jisung already told him how Hyunjin had been in several homes already and all of them gave Hyunjin back to the shelter after just one month, saying that Hyunjin was 'untamable' and was very aggressive.

Yet Jeongin still agreed to take Hyunjin in, though as a foster home. He wanted to see if he could handle keeping him.

But when Hyunjin first met Jeongin, it was like as if the black-haired hybrid made up his mind to detest the younger. Ever since Jeongin brought Hyunjin to his apartment, the older did nothing but growl, hiss, and basically break everything he could.

He would also stare, no, glare at Jeongin with a look that basically says 'come-any-closer-and-I-will-kill-you'.

So Jeongin would come home to his apartment all messy and unorganized everyday. It seriously was a hectic, especially when Jeongin was also majoring as a med student in university and all this just basically adds up to his stress.
