The Jedi Healers had tried to use the Force to restore Elara's lost memory, the didn't succeed and they were still unable to explain the visions she was experiencing. Despite this, they discharged her from the med bay, instructing both her and her master, Master Norin, to report back immediately if any more visions occurred.

After her discharge, Elara set out to find Yord, puzzled and hurt by his absence during her recovery. She wondered why he hadn't even asked if she was okay. After inquiring with several Jedi and Padawans, she finally found him in a training room, working with his Padawan. The room was filled with other Jedi and Padawans, their lightsabers humming in synchronized training drills.

Elara waited outside for hours, watching the door, until finally, Yord emerged. He looked surprised to see her, back on her feet and wearing her usual Padawan uniform. Her hair was unbraided, her Padawan braid tucked inside the rest of her hair.

She stepped forward, her voice tinged with hurt and confusion. "Does it really take a lot of effort to visit me?"

Yord stopped walking and turned to face her. "I did visit you, while you were asleep."

Elara frowned, her eyes searching his face for answers. "Why?" she asked, her voice a mixture of frustration and sadness.Elara's frown deepened, and she took a step closer to Yord. "Why didn't you wake me up or visit while I was awake?"

Yord sighed, running a hand through his locks. "I didn't want to disturb you. You needed to rest and recover, especially since we might be heading to Khofar soon to investigate Mae, Osha's twin sister."

Elara's eyes softened slightly, but the hurt was still evident. "I wish you had talked to me while I was there, alone."

Yord's expression shifted, a flicker of regret crossing his face. "I'm sorry, Elara. I thought I was doing the right thing."

Without another word, Elara turned and walked away, her footsteps echoing in the hallway. Yord watched her go, feeling a pang of guilt and helplessness. He had tried to protect her, but now he wondered if he had only made things worse.

Elara walked briskly through the hallway, her vision blurring as tears welled up in her eyes. She couldn't shake the feeling of foolishness, the nagging thought that maybe to Yord, it was just a physical encounter, devoid of the deeper connection she had felt.

Her steps quickened as she neared her quarters. With a flick of her hand, she used the Force to open the door. The moment she was inside, she let the door close behind her and collapsed onto her bed. The tears she'd been holding back finally flowed freely, and she buried her face in her pillow, allowing herself to cry.

The solitude of her quarters offered a brief respite, but her thoughts kept circling back to Yord and the emotions she couldn't control.

Elara lay there, her tears soaking into the fabric of her pillow. As the initial wave of emotion ebbed, she took a deep, shuddering breath and promised herself she would never let her guard down around Yord again. This had been a mistake—a painful, humiliating mistake that she wouldn't repeat.

She rolled onto her back, staring up at the ceiling of her quarters, the resolve hardening within her. She would focus on her training, on becoming the best Jedi she could be. Emotions were a distraction, a vulnerability she couldn't afford. Elara knew she had to learn from this, to build walls around her heart to protect herself from further hurt.

With that promise, she wiped away her tears and closed her eyes, willing herself to find the strength she needed to move forward.
