Chapter 31

The next day
After last night... it felt like a dream to y/n.. but it wasn't....she woke up  remembering that Miguel just left after that argument and was expecting to see a empty spot next to her but once she turn around and open her eyes she saw Miguel next to her.... she stood up looking over and seeing that he was still wearing his clothes from yesterday.
She got up from the bed and head to the restroom. She stood in front of the mirror and look down noticing the red marks Miguel left in her arms...
" it's okay.... it's okay..." she whispered. She still felt that this was her fault....maybe it is... maybe she will cause these arguments for no reason.... but if only she knew none of this was her fault.
She walked out the restroom and the bedroom. She walked in Gabriella rooms checking on her and seeing her awake and was playing with her toys.
" oh well looks who's awake early" she said smiling
" want to help me make coffee?" She asked
That Gabriella nod her head
" alright" she said grabbing her hand and went
downstairs going to the kitchen
making herself a cup of coffee.
She lean in the counter looking out the kitchen window.
Seeing the birds flying around the backyard. It look peaceful so y/n decided to have breakfast outside with Gabriella.
While they were done having breakfast. Gabriella was playing in her swing set. Y/n was sitting down having her cup of coffee. She was watching Gabriella that she didn't even hear Miguel come outside..
" hey..." he said softly slightly smiling
" hey.." she said not even looking at him...
He looked down and he got the sense that she was still at him.... he looked at her and saw the red marks he left on her arms...
" I am sorry..." he said
Y/n looked at him and didn't knew what to say exactly....
But apologize to him....
" it's fine" she said
" I should be the one apologizing to you" she said
" how come?" He asked
" I realize that this was mostly my fault.... with everything.... even what happen a few days ago... I shouldn't have lied to you about peter... in the first place I should've ignored him...." she said
" I just don't want to argue at all..... so I'm sorry for accusing you of lying...." she said
That Miguel let out a nervous chuckled....
" actually...." he said
" you shouldn't apologize at all..." he said
" why?" She said slightly tilting her head.....
" I wasn't actually honest with you...." he said
" what do you mean..." She said looking at him angrily
" I did lied to you.. That day when you came to my office.... I didn't had a meeting..... I wanted to tell you but I was mad.... about who you saw.... but it also made me realize that it was my fault..... It led to that. and I blamed you on everything even though it was my fault .....
I don't know why I did that and why I blamed you... or why I even lied.... I am truly sorry y/n....."he said
Y/n looked at him.... she was trying to process all that information.....
She felt angry that he didn't told her sooner about this. Instead making her feel guilty....... just blaming her.... being a liar....
" oh...." she said
" your not mad...?" He asked
" oh I'm mad..."
" but I don't think arguing again is the best decision.." she said
" yeah you have a point.." he said
" I'm still sorry for lying to you and giving you those marks.." he said
" I didn't mean to do that"he said
" it's fine..." she said
" just promise me that you won't lie to me or blame me ever again...."she said
Miguel sat there looking at her...
" I promise..." he said
They both sat there quietly...
Till y/n felt Miguel touch.... she looked down and see him grabbing her hand...
She looked up at him and  slightly smiled
Which made Miguel smile as well....
" so your not mad at me anymore?" He asked
" who knows..."
" but I find this very nice..." she said looking at him with a small smile....
He smile back and kissed her hand...
Y/n looked at him.... she all these mix emotions in her....
She was still processing the fact that Miguel was actually honest about him lying to her..... but she knows he's still lying about other things.....
she also wonder why did Miguel's assistant lied to her about the meeting he didn't have.... it made y/n suspect about the whole thing...... she looked at Miguel... right at his eyes... his big lying eyes.....
