Chapter 37

A few days later
It was morning time the sun was shining through the bedroom window that it was hitting y/n face. She let out a groan and and threw her arm on the bed feeling it empty. She open her eyes and saw Miguel wasn't there..
She looked at the ceiling and let out a sigh. She closed her eyes and open it when she heard noises coming from Gabriella bedroom. She sat up and kept hearing it so she got up putting on her robe on and walked out the bedroom and heading to Gabriella room. She open the door and see pillows  and stuff animals near the door. She moved them away and walked in noticing that there was a very big fort in front of her...
" huh..." she softly whispered
And walked towards the fort seeing Gabriella and Miguel in there.
" what's going on here?" Y/n said
" we build a fort mommy" she said smiling
" I could tell" she said smiling at her
" did you guys fell asleep in here?" She asked Miguel
" yeah I heard Gabriella crying last night and I went to go check on her and she wanted me to stay in her bedroom with her." He said
" then she couldn't sleep the night so we ended up building and fort" he said
" oh" she said as Miguel got out the fort leaving Gabriella in there .
" well it was sweet of you do this for her" y/n said smiling at him.
" of course she's my little girl.. I would do anything for her" he said
Y/n kept looking at him with soft smile....
" what?" He said slightly smirking
" it's just cute that's all" she said
Which made Miguel and grabbed her by the waist pulling her into a small kiss... he pulled away and looked At her... he softly started to kiss her down her neck but..
She slightly winced in pain
" what? What happen you okay?" He asked
" yeah I'm fine it's just still hurts from that mark you left me.." she said
" let me see?" He said checking it and seeing it all red and purple.
" it's still red..." he said
" well someone went to far that night" y/n said
Which made Miguel chuckle nervously..
" I'm sorry.." he said which y/n looked at him...
" it's fine.." she said
And let out a sigh
" Gabriella I want you to help your daddy clean up this mess okay young lady" y/n said
" NO!" She shouted
Which made y/n tilt her head..
" excuse me.."she said
" yes" Gabriella said as she started to pick up her toys
" that's what I thought" y/n said walking out the bedroom and going downstairs making herself a cup of coffee. She was waiting for her coffee to be ready. She stood there and felt a little nauseous.. but she took a deep breath trying her best not  to feel like this..... she walked out the kitchen going down the hall and Stopped to looked at herself in the mirror they had in the hall. She looked at her self And notice the redness on her neck. She place her hand on there.. and slightly had a small smile on her face.. she just kept thinking about that night.. it was night that she was still processing....
She grabbed her cup of coffee and went to the living room sat on the couch.
She sat there looking at the window noticing it looked beautiful outside.
She heard foots steps and turn around and saw Miguel coming downstairs.
" hey you okay?" He asked as he sat on the couch next to her..
" yeah yeah I'm fine" she said
" why?" She asked
" you seem a little quiet" he said
" oh It's nothing" she said
Miguel wasn't sure to believe her... he kept looking at her and notice that she looked pale..
" you sure your okay? You look a little pale?" He asked
" Miguel I'm fine,  I feel fine.." she said smiling at him
" don't worry.." she said placing her hand on his cheek..
" okay..." he said softly and grabbed her hand kissing it..
Y/n smiled
Till she remembered that same night how Miguel was acting and what his assistant told y/n.. she let out a small nervous chuckled and moved her hand away... which made Miguel look at y/n with a small serious look..
" where's Gabriella?" She asked changing the subject
" still in her room playing with her toys" he said
" oh" she said
And took a sip of her coffee... and felt that Miguel kept staring at her...
" what?" She said smiling and looked down
" what am I making you nervous that you keep smiling?" He said having a smirk
Which y/n looked at him with a small smile..
" no.." she said
" well I'm just admiring" he said
" you always admire O'Hara" she said
" that's because I have a beautiful wife" he said
Making y/n cheeks get red.
" oh you do?" She said
" yeah I do" he said
" and I love her so much..." he said
" huh.... what do you love about her?" She said
" well how beautiful she is, how lovable she is, caring, love how much she cares about our family.. our daughter.. how much she cares about me as well..." he said
Which y/n had a smile...
" and if you love her so much then why do you lie, hide things from her... why aren't you honest to her?" She asked looking at him serious in the eyes....
Which Miguel looked at her and looked down letting out a small sigh...
" cause I don't want to hurt her..." he said
" and why do you think that ?" She asked
Which made Miguel let out a nervous chuckled...
" that's enough y/n.." he said looking at her seriously
"Okay..." she said
" I'm going to go check on Gabriella" she said leaving Miguel there and going upstairs...
" great..." Miguel whispered....
He sat there thinking about the whole conversation...
She doesn't need to know the things he has done....  he's just protecting her.... he knows it's for the best....
But sooner or later she will probably find out about everything .....
