Jeremiah's POV

"Hey bro, what's up?" Steven asked as i sat beside him.

"I'm good. Steve did you see my text?"

"What text? " he asked, confused as I rolled my eyes.

"Oh.....sorry I was totally beat yesterday and I didn't even check my phone..." he apologized as two girls walked up to us, smiling seductively as I grimaced.

don't they ever get tired?

Steve looked up at them and raised a brow as one of them twisted a strand of her hair, smiling while the other one cleared her throat.

"Uhm...hey guys" she said shyly as we looked at them, waiting for them to speak.

"My birthday's on Saturday and I just wanted to give you both invites to my party. I'd really like it if you come..." she begged, a pleading look on her face. Steve sighed and I could tell he was tired. I was also tired too but trust me, we've done all we could to make these girls stop approaching us.

I mean c'mon! Just last week, a girl asked Steve out....are they that desperate?!

"Look guys, I would've loved to attend the party but I'm real busy this weekend. I've got football practice." He said flatly.

"Oh please...my party would be incomplete without you guys...please?"

"I'm sorry but no." He said firmly as they both turned to leave. I chuckled.

"You know, you really didn't have to lie...you could've just turned them down politely " I said as he scoffed.

"Whatever, the last place i wanna be in is a party full of sweaty, hormonal teenagers who have clearly misplaced their priorities...so what's up with the easter camp?" He asked enthusiastically as Amanda interrupted us.

"Hey!"
I laughed as Steven groaned. She was always so energetic.

"Hi Amanda, what's up?" I asked as she sat on her chair, right next to me as Steven rolled his eyes.

"Oh I'm good, thanks for asking.  Looks like some people probably didn't have breakfast- explains why they're grouchy." She said in her beautiful British accent. Amanda and Steven were both my friends but let's just say they don't know how to relate with themselves without bickering. I had better stop them before they start.

"pfft! Indeed. Oh hello your majesty..." Steven said, imitating her accent as she stuck out her tongue.

"Calm down guys, I've got great news.."

"Oh tell me about it..." Steven said.

"I loveeeee good news." Amanda chirped.

"He ain't talking to you..."

"Oh yes he is..."

"No he's not..."

"Who's excited for this year's easter camp?!" I asked as their eyes grew wide.

"Oh my God! It's here already?" Amanda squealed dramatically as Steven scoffed.

"I think we need to get her a calendar...looks like they don't have those in London." He scoffed as Amanda gasped.

She had lived there all her life and everything about her was there. Anyway, If you schooled at GCH, cases like Amanda's aren't rare - this school's filled with whites, blacks, blasians....in fact if possible, all the races on earth and the school's famous for it's beautiful environment, standard system and expensive nature. If you want to know where the kids of famous actors and actresses or senators or governors (well the list is endless) attend, then come to GCH.

"That's okay Steven. Yes Amanda, camp's here already. It would open in the next two months..." I said as Steven just folded his arms and sulked like a child.

"After our exams...that's beautiful." She replied.

"I suppose you'll be around this holiday?" I asked as she was literally always traveling during the holidays.

"I'm not sure yet but I'll ask my Mom and get back to you." She said.

"What about you Steven?" She asked cheerily as he gave her a bored expression and looked away.

"Grow up dude, grow up." I said to him as he snorted. We've been friends since childhood but he could get real grouchy at times. Just then, the teacher walked in and started teaching Physics.

I mean, who on earth has Physics on a Monday morning, first period?
