It was early morning and jessica was stood in front of her bedroom mirror trying to make sure she looked absolutely perfect for her first day of her new job. She was wearing a navy fitted button up shirt which she paired with black jeans, jessica left her hair down and had a touch of light makeup on. She kept second guessing the outfit entirely but it would have to do because she was going to be late if she didn't go soon.
She went down stairs and out to her car. The house she lived in was perfect. although sometimes she did get lonely living in it all alone. It was the house she lived in with her parents before she was put in the system and when she turned 18 she inherited the house from her grandmothers will.
Once jessica arrived at her new job she parked out front of the building and stared up at it, remembering the last time she was here, she hadn't been back since and just prayed no one would recognise her.
Jessica was directed to the sixth floor and when she got off the elevator she was greeted by the same man she met last time. "Hi, Aaron Hotchner and you must be jessica green" he introduced himself as a wave of relief washed over jess when she realised he couldn't remember her at all I mean to be fair it was over 3 years ago and not everyone has an eidetic memory.
"Yep that's me. So where will I be working?" Jess smiled brightly at him as they shook hands then he lead her through the same place, the same glass doors she had been through all those years ago.
Hotch got her set up at her new desk and started giving her some information about her job while she got comfortable.
"Alright I will let you get on with it then, just to let you know that we will be having a meeting in the conference room in 10 minutes so we'll have a chance to introduce you to the rest of the team then" hotch had already pointed the conference room out to you on the way in.
"Perfect thank you for your help" he nodded with a slight smile then walked away into his office.
Jess immediately got up from her seat and went to the bathroom to freshen up and just overall prepare to meet everyone else on the team. She knew Spencer Reid was no longer with the team which she found out via an extensive google search, although she couldn't decide if she was happy about that or not she had so many conflicting emotions towards that man.
she walked into the conference room to see hotch talking to a blonde woman with blue eyes and kind face who turned to smile at her as soon as she noticed jessica.
"Agent green this is agent Jennifer Jareau, our liaison"
The woman shook her hand and Jess mirrored her smile. "everyone calls me JJ, hotch mentioned you'd be starting with us it's so lovely to finally meet you"
"Likewise, oh and you can call me Jess" Jessica already knew they'd get on well she just seemed so sweet.
Slowly everyone else came in and Jess got acquainted with the team then JJ started to go through the case.
"In New York there are 4 victims, all males all found in alleys. Their ages ranging from 24-31, found with multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, there were signs of a struggle and all men contained high levels of alcohol in their system"
"Are their witnesses?" Morgan questioned trying to gain more information.
"no but our unsub has been making contact with NYPD, sending notes taunting them" JJ flicked to a slide on the screen showing all four notes that the unsub sent"
