"No, no, no, no!!"

Venus picked up her little brother and ran as fast as she could. However, deep snow and cold prevented her from going far. The bear easily caught up.

"Fine..."

Venus said gasping. She put her little brother down and told him.

"Oliver, run. Run as fast as you can. Don't look back."

"But..."

Oliver looked at his sister's blue eyes which turned grey because there was no light.

"No, don't care about me. Just run!!"

Oliver did as Venus told. Venus turned to the big animal.

"Don't come closer to me!"

She yelled. But the bear just growled. Venus sighed and made some hand seals. The blue fire was born in her hand.

"Eat this!"

She threw him the fireball. A big roar resounded around. The bear screamed and ran. Venus fainted in the snow. She used too much energy.

"What was that?"

Amoly said Waking up from her little bed.

"Shouldn't you have been sleeping, Amoly?"

Larota said rubbing her eyes.

"I think it's just thunder"

"Hmmm...it didn't sound like thunder. I'll go to check!"

"Huh, what? Wait, Amy!"

Larota and Talena followed after her little sister. The three saw Hopu standing and wearing her shoes.

"Girls? Why aren't you in your beds?"

She asked confused when she saw her daughters.

"I heard something on outside! I came to check it!"

"Well, don't worry about that. I was going to see it now. Stay here, dear."

Hopu went out with her lamp. The wind blew on her face. It was cold and painful. She walked a little but the pain was intolerable. The young woman was about to give up. But then she saw something—a little shadow.

"Is there someone?!"

Hopu yelled in the dark. She didn't hear the answer but the crying of a little kid. Hopu managed to come closer to the shadow and finally, she could see a turtle boy in the light of her lamp.

"Oh...oh my god..."

She was shocked to find another turtle.

"Come here, baby...are you okay?"

"Onē-chan is there!"

He cried.

"Your sister?"

Hopu looked around. There was only dark.

"Bear attacked...help her...please!"

"Okay, okay, but first I need to take you to my home"

Hopu led him to her house and asked the girls to take care of him.

"I'll go to help her sister"

Sensei again went to the dark forest. She barely could see anything but continued to look around where a boy told. The lamp was soon covered with snow and Hopu had to wipe it with her hand sometimes. By walking for several minutes, she found a broken tree and footprints of a big animal.

"This is bear's. She must be near here."

Hopu carefully looked at the ground and her eyes caught a brown cloak.

"There she is!"

She quickly picked her up in her hands. She saw a turtle girl with a blue bandana. She was shivering and her lips were blue from the cold. Hopu spoke to her, but the girl responded nothing. Hopu quickly took off her cloak and wrapped it around the girl, pulling her close to share her body heat. With the girl safely in her arms, Hopu retraced her steps, following the path back through the forest.

She managed to go back to her warm home and did everything to make her survive.
