The sun had long set, leaving only the city lights to blink through the windows of the practice room. The clock ticked past midnight, but the members of the group still moved in sync, their reflections almost ghost-like in the mirror. The air was thick with the scent of sweat and the sound of heavy breathing, punctuated by the constant thump of the bass reverberating through the floor.

Gyuvin had been struggling for the last few hours, each move feeling heavier, his limbs slow and uncooperative. He'd been pushing himself, determined to keep up, but with every new repetition, it felt like his body was betraying him. He could feel the burn in his muscles, the ache in his joints, and the exhaustion pulling at him like a tidal wave. "Again, from the top!" The choreographer's voice cut through the room, firm but encouraging. Gyuvin took a deep breath, glancing at the others. Hanbin was already in position, his eyes sharp and focused. Gunwook was wiping sweat from his brow, but he looked ready to go, his expression calm and determined. The rest of the group was just as focused, though they too were showing signs of wear.

Gyuvin's legs trembled slightly as he stepped back into position. His mind was foggy, and he felt like he was moving through molasses, but he didn't want to be the one to slow everyone down. He clenched his fists, trying to summon the last bit of energy he had. The music started again, and they moved in unison, but Gyuvin could feel himself falling behind. His timing was off, his steps sloppy. His breathing was ragged, and he could feel the sweat dripping down his face, stinging his eyes. "Come on Gyuvin hyung, keep up!" Gunwook called out, his voice cutting through the music.

Gyuvin gritted his teeth and pushed harder, forcing his body to move faster, but his vision started to blur. His heart was pounding in his chest, and his limbs felt like they were made of lead. The final beat of the music hit, and they all struck their ending poses, holding it for a moment before the music cut out. The silence was deafening, and Gyuvin felt like he was drowning in it. "Take five minutes break, everyone. " The choreographer said, his voice softer now. The others started to relax, moving towards the edges of the room to grab water bottles or towels, but Gyuvin just stood there, frozen in place. His chest was heaving, and he could barely catch his breath.

Gunwook noticed first, turning back to look at him. "Gyuvin hyung?" he asked, his voice laced with concern. Gyuvin didn't respond. He felt the room spin around him, his legs wobbling under him. Before he could even register what was happening, his vision went black, and he crumpled to the floor. "GYUVIN HYUNG!!!" Gunwook shouted, rushing over to him, the rest of the members close behind. Hanbin knelt beside Gyuvin, his hands trembling slightly as he checked for a pulse. "He's burning up." He said, his voice tight with worry.

The other members crowded around, their faces etched with concern. "What do we do?" Taerae asked, his usual bright expression replaced with worry. "We need to get him to the dorms. He needs to rest. " Hanbin said firmly. "Can you carry him?" Gunwook asked, looking at Ricky, who was the tallest and strongest among them. Ricky nodded, not hesitating as he lifted Gyuvin into his arms, careful to support his head. "I've got him."

They quickly gathered their things, the mood in the room somber as they moved with urgency. The usual banter and chatter were replaced with tense silence, everyone's thoughts focused on Gyuvin's wellbeing. As they made their way back to the dorm, Gunwook couldn't help but feel a knot of guilt tightening in his stomach. He had seen the signs earlier, the way Gyuvin had been lagging behind, but he had brushed it off, assuming that Gyuvin would push through like he always did.

When they finally reached the dorm, they gently laid Gyuvin down on his bed. His face was pale, beads of sweat clinging to his forehead, and he looked so small and vulnerable lying there. "We should call the manager hyung." Yujin said, his voice barely above a whisper. Hanbin nodded, pulling out his phone and stepping out of the room to make the call. The remaining members hovered around Gyuvin, unsure of what to do next. "Should we get him some water?" Ricky suggested, already moving towards the kitchen."Yeah, and a wet towel." Gunwook added, his voice thick with worry. He couldn't stand seeing Gyuvin like this.

Within minutes, they were back at Gyuvin's side, Ricky holding a glass of water and Gunwook with a damp towel. Gunwook gently dabbed at Gyuvin's forehead, trying to cool him down. "Hey Gyuvin hyung, wake up. We need you ti drink some water." Gunwook said softly, his voice trembling slightly. Gyuvin's eyelids fluttered, and he let out a low groan as he slowly came to. His eyes were unfocused, and he looked disoriented, but there was a flicker of recognition as he saw his members around him."Gun...wook?" he mumbled, his voice hoarse.

"Yeah it's me, hyung. You scared us hyung. " Gunwook replied, relief flooding through him. Gyuvin tried to sit up but his body protested and he slumped back down, wincing. "Easy, don't push yourself. The manager hyung is on his way. He'll take you to hospital." Hanbin said as he reentered the room. Gyuvin shook his head weakly. "No... I'm fine... just tired."

"Gyuvin, you passed out during practice. You're not fine." Zhang Hao said, his voice firm but caring. Gyuvin's eyes flickered with guilt. "I didn't want to slow you guys down..." Gunwook's heart ached at those words. He placed a hand on Gyuvin's arm, squeezing it gently. "You're more important than any practice, hyung. We're a team, remember? We look out for each other." Gunwook said softly.

The room fell silent, the weight of Gunwook's words settling over them. Gyuvin's eyes grew misty, and he gave a small nod, too exhausted to argue. "Just rest, okay? We'll take care of everything." Ricky said, offering the glass of water. Gyuvin took a sip of the water, his hands trembling slightly as he held the glass. He could feel the concern and care from his members, and it warmed his heart even as his body ached with exhaustion.

The manager arrived soon after, his face lined with worry as he hurried into the room. He quickly assessed the situation, his expression softening when he saw that Gyuvin was awake. "We'll get you checked out, make sure everything's okay." the manager said gently, his voice soothing. Gyuvin nodded, too tired to protest, and allowed himself to be helped out of bed. The members watched with anxious eyes as he was guided out of the dorm, the door closing behind them with a soft click.

For a moment, the remaining members stood in silence, the weight of the evening's events heavy on their shoulders."I feel like we should have seen this coming." Hanbin murmured, breaking the silence."We've all been pushing ourselves hard but gyuvin hyung is going above and beyond lately." Yujin said, his voice tinged with guilt. "We'll be more careful from now on. We can't let something like this happen again." Gunwook said firmly.

They all nodded in agreement, the unspoken promise hanging in the air. They would watch out for each other, take care of each other, because they were more than just a group-they were family.

Hours later, when Gyuvin returned to the dorms, exhausted but cleared by the doctors, he was greeted with the warm smiles and relieved faces of his members. They had prepared a small feast of his favorite foods, determined to help him recover and feel better. As they sat together, eating and talking in hushed tones, Gyuvin couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Despite the exhaustion still lingering in his body, he felt a sense of peace settle over him. "Thank you for everything." He said softly, looking around at his members. "You don't have to thank us. We're always here for you, no matter what." Gunwook says to him.

Gyuvin smiled back, the warmth in his chest spreading, filling him with a sense of belonging that he cherished deeply. And as they continued to talk and laugh into the early hours of the morning, the events of the night slowly faded into the background, leaving only the bond of their friendship stronger than ever before.
