The neon lights of the city outside the company building buzzed softly as Hanbin, the leader of the rising 5th generation group Zerobaseone, glanced at the clock. It was well past midnight, and the office was eerily quiet. Everyone else had left hours ago, but Hanbin still sat at his desk, poring over schedules, song drafts, and upcoming performance plans. As the leader, he felt an unspoken responsibility to ensure everything was perfect, especially with the group's popularity on the rise.

But tonight, something felt off. Hanbin's head throbbed faintly, and there was a dull ache in his stomach. He brushed it off, attributing it to the stress and lack of sleep. "I just need to finish this." He muttered to himself, rubbing his temples. The night dragged on, and by the time he finally left the building, the first rays of dawn were peeking over the horizon. As he stepped outside, the cool morning air hit him, sending a shiver down his spine. He felt a wave of nausea but ignored it, focusing on the thought of his warm bed waiting for him at home.

By the time Hanbin arrived home, his body felt heavier than usual. His limbs were sluggish, and a wave of dizziness washed over him as he stumbled through the door. He dropped his bag by the entrance and made his way to his room, collapsing onto the bed without bothering to change out of his clothes.

"I'll be fine," he whispered to himself as he closed his eyes, willing the discomfort away. "Just need some sleep."

The next morning, the sunlight streaming through the window felt harsher than usual. Hanbin groaned, his body aching all over. His head pounded, and his stomach churned unpleasantly. He forced himself to sit up, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "I don't have time for this," he muttered, trying to shake off the heavy feeling in his body. He reached for his phone and checked the time. He was already running late. Pushing aside the queasiness, he got up, took a quick shower, and headed out to the company.

Throughout the morning, Hanbin did his best to hide how awful he felt. He plastered a smile on his face during meetings, nodded along during discussions, and even managed to crack a few jokes with the other members. But inside, his body was screaming. His stomach was in knots, and his head felt like it was being squeezed in a vise. At lunch, the members gathered in the practice room, chatting excitedly about their upcoming performance. Hanbin sat in the corner, sipping water and trying to keep his nausea at bay. "Hyung, aren't you going to eat?" Gyuvin, one of the younger members, asked, noticing Hanbin's untouched lunchbox.

Hanbin forced a smile. "I'm not that hungry, just a bit tired. You guys go ahead." Ricky, who was sitting beside him, frowned. "You don't look so good, Hanbin-hyung. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Just need to rest a bit." Hanbin insisted, though his voice was weaker than he intended. As the day progressed, Hanbin's condition worsened. His fever climbed higher, and the constant nausea left him feeling weak and shaky. During dance practice, he struggled to keep up, his vision blurring with every move. He managed to get through the first half of the practice, but by the time they took a break, he was barely holding it together.

"Hanbin-hyung, you're really pale. Maybe you should sit this one out." Matthew observed, his brows furrowed with concern. Hanbin shook his head, though the motion made him dizzy. "No, I'm fine. We need to get this right. The performance is in a few days."

"Hanbin, you're not fine. You're burning up." Jiwoong interjected, stepping closer to Hanbin as he placed the hand on his forehead. Hanbin swayed slightly, his vision darkening at the edges. "I... I just need a minute...hyung..."
