Since my exams are finally over!! I will be posting 3 new chapter tomorrow... Hope you will enjoy reading them...

The day started like any other at the Zerobaseone dorm-some members were still half-asleep, some were wide awake, and some, like Matthew, were in between. He shuffled out of his room, rubbing his eyes, his hair sticking out in odd directions. "Morning." he mumbled, voice still heavy with sleep.
"Morning." Jiwoong greeted, already seated at the dining table, scrolling through his phone. Hanbin was beside him, cheerfully munching on toast.
"You look like you fought with your blanket." Hanbin joked.

Matthew let out a chuckle as he flopped onto the couch, stretching his arms over his head. The dorm smelled like breakfast-toast, eggs, and something slightly floral. Taerae was humming as he walked past with a bowl of cereal, and Yujin was sprawled out on the floor with his phone, probably watching something.

But just as Matthew settled in, a sharp tickle bloomed in his nose.

"Hhh'tSHHHH! Hh'TSHHuhh!"

Everyone turned toward him as he bent forward with two harsh sneezes, his hand barely making it in time to catch them.

"Bless you." Jiwoong said instinctively.

Matthew sniffled and blinked rapidly. "Ugh... thanks.That came out of nowhere." He rubbed his nose, sniffling again. Hanbin tilted his head. "You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Matthew waved a hand dismissively. He sat up properly and reached for the nearest blanket to wrap around himself.

But barely a minute passed before he inhaled sharply again.

L"Hhh'TSHHuhh! Hh... hh'TSSCHHh! Hh'NGSHHH'uhh!"

"Whoa, bless you." Gunwook called from across the room.

"Hyung, that sounded violent," Ricky added, eyebrows raised.
Matthew sniffled thickly, rubbing at his nose. "Ughhh... my nose is itchy."
Jiwoong frowned, watching him closely. "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah, it's probably just dust or something." Matthew muttered, but the congestion in his voice made it sound less convincing. Jiwoong wasn't buying it.

An Hour Later...

Matthew had sneezed at least twenty times in the past hour.
At first, the members thought it was a fluke, but as the sneezes kept coming, their concern grew.
"Hhh'TSHHHuh! Hh'EHHSHH! Hh'NGSHH'uhh!" Jiwoong and Hanbin exchanged worried glances as Matthew sniffled helplessly into a tissue.

"Okay, this is not normal. Are you getting sick?" Jiwoong declared, crossing his arms. Matthew groaned, rubbing his nose with his sleeve. "I don't think so... I don't feel feverish or anything. It's just-hh'EHTSHHH'uhh!-this sneezing won't stop."

"I swear, you've sneezed like fifty times already," Gyuvin said dramatically from the couch, watching Matthew with a mix of amusement and concern.
"More like thirty." Ricky corrected, because he had actually been counting each sneeze under his breath.
Gunwook sat down beside Matthew, peering at him closely. "Are you sure you're not allergic to something?"

"Allergic? I don't have allergies....at least, I don't think I do." Matthew blinked, considering it. Hanbin rubbed his chin. "Well, something's obviously setting you off." Jiwoong sighed, rubbing his temples. "Okay, let's break this down. When did this start?"

Matthew sniffled and thought about it. "Uh... when I came out of my room?"
Yujin, still lying on the floor, suddenly sat up. "Wait, is it the flowers?"

Everyone turned to him.

"The flowers?" Jiwoong repeated.
Yujin pointed toward the vase of fresh flowers on the dining table. "Hanbin bought them yesterday, remember? Maybe Matthew hyung is allergic to them?"

There was a beat of silence.

Then, Taerae gasped dramatically. "OH MY GOD." Hanbin's eyes widened as he looked at the innocent-looking bouquet. "Wait... no way." Ricky smirked. "Only one way to find out." Without warning, Gunwook grabbed the vase and held it closer to Matthew."D-Don't, come nea-!" But it was too late. As soon as the flowers got closer, Matthew's breath hitched violently."Hhh'ETSCHHH'uhh! Hh'TSHHH! Hh'NGSHHH! Hh'EHHSHHH'uhh!"

He barely managed to catch the sneezes in his sleeve, his entire body jerking forward.
Gunwook immediately pulled the flowers back. "Okay, yeah, we're throwing these out." Jiwoong was already on his feet. "I'll do it. Open the windows."

Hanbin, looking guilty, quickly helped Jiwoong take the vase outside while Taerae and Ricky rushed to open the windows to air out the room.
"I'm sorry. I didn't think flowers would bother you." Hanbin said sheepishly.
Matthew groaned, flopping back against the couch. "Ugh, me neither. I didn't even know I had a problem with flower."

"Well, you do now. At least we know what caused it." Jiwoong murmured, still keeping an eye on him. "Yeah...Can someone pass me tissues, though?" Matthew sighed. Gunwook immediately jumped up and grabbed a box from the side, handing it over. "Thanks, Gunwook. I hope so... I think I've sneezed more today than I have in my whole life." Matthew muttered, blowing his nose loudly. Gyuvin smirked. "So, no more flowers for you?"

"Nope, Lesson learned." Matthew mumbled, sniffling. "Well, at least it wasn't anything serious. Imagine if it was something worse" Taerae said, leaning back against the couch. Hao hummed. "Like a cat." Matthew froze. "Wait. What?" Hao shrugged. "What if you were allergic to cats?"

"...Don't even joke about that. I love cats" Matthew muttered, looking horrified. Jiwoong chuckled, ruffling his hair. "Well, lucky for you, we don't have one." Gunwook grinned. "Yeah. But if we ever get a pet, maybe we should test it first." Matthew groaned. "Let's just... not talk about that, okay?"

The others laughed, the atmosphere finally relaxing again. From then on, scented candles were officially banned from the dorm.
