Ricky has been suffering from migraines since his childhood.

The airport was buzzing with life, the constant hum of conversations, rolling luggage, and announcements echoing off the walls. It was a familiar scene for Ricky and his group, one they had become accustomed to over time. But today, the noise felt different-sharper, louder, and more overwhelming.

Ricky could feel the edges of a migraine forming, a dull throbbing behind his right eye that had started as a mere annoyance back at the dorm but had since grown into a persistent ache. He tried to ignore it, focusing instead on keeping up with his group as they navigated through the bustling airport.

They were heading to another city for a 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon and the fans had already caught wind of their departure. The moment they stepped out of the van, they were greeted by a sea of flashing lights and excited voices calling out their names. Normally, Ricky thrived in these moments, feeding off the energy of the fans, but today it felt like the lights were piercing into his skull, each flash sending a sharp pain through his head. "Ricky, over here!" A fan shouted, holding up a sign with his name in bold letters. He wanted to smile, to wave back but the pain made it difficult to focus. He forced a small smile, hoping it would suffice, and kept moving.

"Hey, are you okay?" Gyuvin asked, noticing the way Ricky was lagging behind.Ricky nodded quickly, not wanting to worry him. "Yeah, just... a little tired." Gyuvin looked at him skeptically but didn't push further. The group continued moving, their manager leading the way through the throngs of people. The flashes from cameras continued to go off in rapid succession, and the noise seemed to grow louder with every step. Ricky's vision blurred slightly, the edges of his sight tinged with a bright halo that made it hard to see.

He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. They were almost through the crowd, almost to the gate. He just needed to hold on a little longer. But the flashes kept coming, the noise kept growing, and the pain in his head escalated from a dull throb to a sharp, stabbing sensation. He felt like his skull was being squeezed in a vice, and it was all he could do to keep from crying out.

Suddenly, the world tilted around him. He stumbled, reaching out to steady himself against Gyuvin's arm. "Ricky? You're not okay. What's wrong? " Gyuvin's voice was laced with concern now. Ricky tried to answer, but the words got stuck in his throat. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping the darkness would help ease the pain, but it only made him more disoriented. He could hear the voices of his members, muffled and distant, as if they were speaking to him from the end of a long tunnel. "Ricky, look at me. We need to get him out of here." Hanbin said, his voice cutting through the fog. Hanbin's words were the last thing Ricky comprehended before the world went completely dark. He felt strong arms around him, lifting him, and the cool air of the airport shifted to a more controlled, quiet environment.

When Ricky came to, he was in a quiet room, the harsh lights of the airport replaced by the soft glow of a table lamp. His head still ached, but the sharp pain had dulled to a manageable throb. He blinked slowly, his vision clearing to reveal Gunwook sitting beside him, his expression one of deep concern. "Hey Ricky hyung, how are you feeling ?" Gunwook said softly, relief flooding his features as he saw Ricky's eyes open. (Gunwook and Hao were present in the room.)

Ricky tried to sit up, but the movement sent a fresh wave of pain through his head, and he groaned, sinking back against the pillows. "Still hurts... but it's better."

"You scared us back there. You fainted. " Gunwook said, his voice tinged with lingering worry. Ricky winced at the memory of the flashing lights and the overwhelming noise. "It was too much... the lights, the noise... my head felt like it was going to explode." Hao nodded, his expression softening. "I figured it was a migraine. We got you out of there as fast as we could." The door to the room creaked open, and the rest of the members filed in, their faces a mix of concern and relief. "You okay, Ricky? You really sacred us." Taerae asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed.
Ricky offered a small smile, though it was tinged with exhaustion. "I'm sorry... I didn't want to worry anyone."

"You don't have to apologize
You need to take care of yourself." Hanbin said firmly, crossing his arms.
Gyuvin, who had been pacing near the door, finally spoke up. "We should have noticed earlier... I should have noticed."

"It's not your fault. I thought I could handle it." Ricky reassured him, his voice soft but earnest. "We're just glad you're okay hyung." Yujin said, his usual bright demeanor muted by concern.

The manager entered the room shortly after, carrying a bottle of water and some medicine. "Here, this should help with the pain." He said, handing the items to Ricky. Ricky took the pills with a grateful nod, swallowing them down with a sip of water. "Thanks."

"We've already arranged for a delay in your flight. You can rest here until you feel better." the manager continued. Ricky wanted to protest, to tell them he could push through, but the truth was, he still felt too weak to move. The thought of going back out into the chaos of the airport was too overwhelming to bear.

"Okay, hyung." He agreed, his voice barely above a whisper. The members stayed with him as he rested, the room filled with the quiet hum of their conversations. Ricky felt a warmth in his chest, despite the lingering pain in his head. He was grateful for their support, for the way they had dropped everything to take care of him.

As the hours passed, the pain slowly began to recede, the medicine doing its job. Ricky felt the tension in his body ease, the fog in his mind lifting. By the time the manager came to check on him again, he felt more like himself. "You ready to go?" Gunwook asked, helping Ricky to his feet.

Ricky nodded, though he still felt a little unsteady. "Yeah, I think I'm okay now." The manager had arranged for a private exit to avoid the crowds, and the group made their way through the quieter parts of the airport, Ricky leaning on Gunwook for support. The flashing lights and noise were a distant memory, replaced by the soothing silence of the private corridor.

When they finally boarded the plane, the members made sure Ricky was comfortable, arranging pillows and blankets around him. He settled into his seat, feeling the exhaustion from the day's events finally catch up with him.

"Thanks, everyone. I don't know what I'd do without you." Ricky said, his voice soft with gratitude."You'd do the same for us." Gyuvin said with a smile, settling into the seat next to him. "Just rest. We've got you." Hanbin added, his tone gentle.

Ricky closed his eyes, the steady hum of the plane's engines lulling him into a peaceful sleep. As he drifted off, he felt a deep sense of comfort knowing that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always face them together.
