Tonight marks two years since Adrien and I said our "I dos," and I can't believe how time has flown. Our little Mia, at just eight months, is our joy, but it's been a while since Adrien and I had a proper moment to ourselves. My sister Avery and her husband Cody are kindly offering to take Mia for the night so that Adrien and I can "reconnect." Well, we both know that's just code for some much-needed intimacy.

As I stand in Mia's nursery, I smile at my little girl, who looks just like her daddy with her golden-blond hair and bright green eyes. She babbles happily as I pick out her outfit for the night — a cute pink onesie adorned with little star patterns.

"Mia, sweetheart, today is a special day!" I say, my heart swelling with love as she coos at me, completely unaware of the plans for the evening. After I change her, I gently clip in a small hair bow, one that looks just like mine. She squeals with delight as I spin her around in my arms.

"Your cousins are going to spoil you, little one! Tasha and Tayla are so excited to see you!" I assure her, even if she can't quite comprehend what I'm saying. Just then, I hear a knock on the door, and my sister Avery steps in, her face lighting up at the sight of Mia.

"There's my favorite niece!" Avery exclaims, bending down to scoop Mia into her arms. Mia giggles, reaching for her aunt. I have a moment of hesitation; it's hard to let go of my baby for a whole night. But I remind myself how much this is needed for Adrien and me.

"Are you ready for a fun adventure with Aunt Avery and Uncle Cody?" I ask Mia. She merely squints, still preoccupied by the new face.

"I'll take good care of her, Y/n," Avery insists, cradling Mia close. "You two enjoy your night!"

As they prepare to leave, I pack a small bag with diapers, a change of clothes, and a few of Mia's favorite toys. Once everything is set, I hand the bag to Avery and watch as she takes Mia out into the hallway. Adrien is waiting by the door, a warm smile on his face, and I can tell he's just as excited as I am.

"Have fun, my sweet girl!" I call out, and Mia turns, her blue-green eyes lighting up as she waves her tiny hand at me.

With the door clicking shut behind them, Adrien steps closer, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "So... now it's just us," he says, the words dripping with promise.

The hours pass slowly as we indulge in romantic dinners and sweet conversations. Eventually, it's time for us to head to the bedroom. As we sway gently in the dim light, the air grows thick with anticipation. I can feel the warmth radiating from Adrien as he leans down, brushing his lips against mine in a tender kiss. It quickly deepens, turning into something much more passionate — a connecting of souls we've been yearning for.

I tug him towards the bed, and we fall upon it, laughter escaping our lips as we navigate the sheets. The world outside fades into nothing; it's only the two of us, wrapped in warmth and desire. As his hands roam over me, sending waves of heat through my body, I forget everything else. I revel in the feeling of being his and only his, our bodies entwined in a rhythm that feels familiar yet thrilling.

Later, cuddled up in bed, the afterglow of what we've shared wrapping us in a soft blanket of contentment, I let my fingers trace along Adrien's chest. I ponder the future quietly before finally asking the question that has lingered in my heart.

"Adrien, in a few months... what do you think about us having another baby?" The words slip out, filled with hope and a touch of uncertainty.

He turns to me, his expression softening, those brilliant green eyes meeting mine. "Yes, baby girl. I'd love that. Just think of how beautiful our family could be," he replies, and his voice is a soothing balm to my soul.

I smile, feeling a rush of warmth as I snuggle closer to him, content in the knowledge that we will continue to build our lives, side by side — always together.
