As I carefully brush  Mia's blond hair, she looks up at me with her bright green eyes and gives me a toothy grin. "Mia pretty," she says, patting her hair with her tiny hand. I can't help but smile at her adorable pronunciation and the way she beams with pride.

Tonight, however, it's just Mia and me as we get ready to attend one of Adrien's work events. These events are a regular part of our lives. Mia has been going to them since she was a baby, so she's used to the crowds, the paparazzi, and the bodyguards that accompany us.

As I finish up Mia's hair, I hear Adrien's voice from the other room. "Y/N, are you and Mia ready? The car is here."

I call back, "Coming!" and help Mia put on her shoes. She toddles over to Adrien as he scoops her up and gives her a kiss on the cheek.

"You look beautiful, sweetheart," he tells her, and she giggles with delight.

As we make our way to the car, I can feel the excitement radiating off of Mia. She loves these events, and I'm always impressed by how well she handles herself in social situations. She's a natural charmer, just like her dad.

When we arrive at the venue, the paparazzi are already gathered outside, snapping photos and calling out questions. Adrien handles it all with grace, smiling and waving as he carries Mia inside.

Once we're inside, Adrien introduces me to some of his colleagues. I smile and nod, trying to remember everyone's names as Mia tugs at my hand, eager to explore.

As we make our way through the crowd, I can feel the eyes of many of the attendees on us. I'm always a little self-conscious at these events, but I try to remind myself that I have every right to be here. I'm not just Adrien's wife; I'm also a successful businesswoman in my own right.

After what feels like hours of mingling and making small talk, Adrien and I finally have a chance to sit down and relax. Mia is off playing with some of the other children, and I can see the relief on Adrien's face as he takes a deep breath.

"I'm so glad you could make it tonight," he says, reaching for my hand. "I know these events can be tough for you."

I smile and squeeze his hand. "I'm glad I could be here for you. And I have to admit, Mia loves these events. She's such a social butterfly."

Adrien chuckles. "Yes, she certainly takes after you in that regard. And speaking of Mia, I should probably go check on her."

As Adrien gets up to leave, I can't help but feel a sense of pride. Our little family may not be traditional, but we're strong and loving, and we support each other through thick and thin.

As I watch Adrien make his way through the crowd, I know that no matter what challenges come our way, we'll face them together. Because that's what families do.
