Always and forever

Days went by as we prepared for the attack, I'm not sure what she has in store for us but it's nothing compared to what I can do. I get out of bed to go check on the twins in their crib only to see they weren't there. I screamed for Dabi, but heard nothing. 

I ran downstairs to check the house but it was empty. I grabbed my keys and opened the front door only to see Dabi with the twins.  "Oh thank god!" I couldn't help the stray tear that fell down my face.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going dressed like that?!" I looked down to see I'm still in my nightgown. I broke down in tears, " I thought they were gone. I thought I slept through it all and everyone was gone." He handed me the twins and gave me a hug as I bawled my eyes out like a bitch.

"I refuse to be weak." I handed them back to him and ran upstairs,"Watch them I'll be back." "Y/n where the hell are you going?!" "To get ready to kick her ass!" He ran upstairs behind me,"And just how the fuck do you plan to do that?!" I ignored him; I don't really have a plan I just know I have to fight.

I dug through my closet and found some biker shorts and a t-shirt. I don't really care how I look I need to end this now. "Where are you going Y/n?" "Get dressed. Where the hell is everyone?!"

"Your dad picked them up to train them in demonology and the best combat to defeat them." "What?" "He created a portal and told them he knew how to help." "But he doesn't." "What?" "We've been set up. FUCK!"

I flipped the dresser and completely trashed the room. "Y/n." I can't hear. I can't think. I can't breathe. The babies are crying.     "Y/n!" "What?!" "You're scarring them." "They should be scared." I turned and looked at him. "How come you didn't go?"

I've learned in my fair share of years on this earth to trust no one. "I had to watch the kids." "Jenna could watch them. Why didn't you go." I'm slowly beginning to grow more angry. "I-" "Save it!" I looked him in the eyes and looked at the twins, "Are my children dead?"

I'm tired. Weak. Hurt. How could I let this happen? "Are my children dead?! Mom. Mom, please are they dead?" This is all your fault. It's my fault. "Mom? Y/n are you okay? It's me, the twins are right here." "I see through you. I may make dumb decisions, but I am NOT stupid." He  tried to speak.

"Show yourself! Are my children dead?!" She morphed. I knew it. My children turned to doves. Is this what it feels like to truly feel dead inside. "Are they dead?" "Yes." I sobbed.

"Where's Dabi?" She turned away. "You killed my children, my innocent children the least you could do is tell me where my family is." "They're gone." No. I don't believe it. I won't. No. I fell to my knees.

"You know, as a kid I used to wonder what my mother was like. I'm not impressed." I drew my wings and shot across the room choking her. "You're a cold hearted bitch." I can hear her heart pumping. She's afraid. "Are you..weak?"

I squeezed tighter as she clawed at my fingers. "Yea, you're a weak little bitch aren't ya? I bet they're not even dead, are they?" She clawed more and more her life fading.

"You're not even immortal. Your god can grant you this power but not immortality? No, I've heard the story. This is your punishment. I bet you don't even have wings. Do ya?"

My hands started to heat. She tried to scream but her breath was caught in her lungs. "Right about now I'd say those are second degree burns. Are you ready to tell me what really happened?" She nodded. "Good."

I used my magic to create purple chains to wrap around her neck and to keep her hands restrained. "Where is my family?" "With your dad." "If this is true then why didn't they call?" "I tried to get the twins earlier this morning while everyone was asleep, but failed when Dabi heard me. He came and used his stupid fire quirk to burn me, I fled. He took them and called your dad. I guess that's when everyone left."

"Why didn't they wake me?" "They hadn't left long before you woke. They should be back soon. Killing the twins was never the plan, my task was to-" "Kill me." She nodded. "The twins were just a distraction he wanted the original mistake, you. I was supposed to lure you to him but failed. I'm forever a fallen angel."

She hung her head. I just stared at her dumbfounded. "Y/n!" I heard dad running up the stairs. Tears prickled my eyes. "Why didn't you want me?" "You were a mistake, my mistake." "You made a choice and created life! I'm your daughter dammit! Those were your grandchildren wouldn't you like to get to know them?"

She looked away, "They were born of sin, the same from which you were conceived, my greatest mistake." "You're not a mistake     Y/n." I looked at the door and seen my dad. I ran in his arms and sobbed. "She hates me. She never wanted to kill the twins they were just a bonus, she wanted to kill me."

No child should ever have to feel this feeling. The feeling of being unwanted. Unloved. Hurt. I felt like I was ten again, getting bullied because I didn't have a mom. She didn't want me. She hates me. I'm her biggest mistake.

I just want Dabi. "Where is Dabi." "He's at my house I made him stay." "Deal with her how you choose, I'm going home to my family. It's too early for this shit."

I created my portal right into the living room. "DAMMIT!" I got hit in the head with something, "FUCK!" Dabi looked up from his crouched position. "LANGUAGE!" "He just hit me in the head with his fucking phone!" "Princess?" "In the flesh." He ran to hug me. "She tried to take them." I layed my head on his chest. "I know."

"Where is she now?" "Probably dead." He lifted my chin to make me look at him, "Are you okay?" "I will be.", I placed my head back on his chest and held him tighter. "Please never leave me." "It's just you, me, and the twins, princess, always and forever."

We walked upstairs to the twins' room and brought them to mine. We just layed there for a while. "I love you." "I love you too, princess." No one really has to know what went down today, the only important thing as that I won and she got what she deserved.
