Picnic
It is 5:30 pm; As the sun sets, the picnic is just about to start. Jordan and Naomi set up an outdoor gathering by the lake for their friends to come together, enjoy themselves, and unwind before the next busy week of school. They had all the snacks, drinks, games, and essentials needed for a fun-filled picnic.
Of course, as the host, Jordan and Naomi got there first, followed by Fred, Asher, and Jaymee. They all exchanged greetings.
Jaymee: Oh my God. This is so beautiful guys. You guys did your thing. I love it.
Asher: Yea, I am very sure Naomi pulled this off. There is no way Jordan Baker can come up with something like this.
They all laughed...
Jordan: (puts his hands around Naomi waist) You got jokes, huh? Not funny!
Fred: Don't mind him. It is actually very thoughtful of you. Thanks for inviting us guys..
As they were all chatting, Davita, Kia and Darnell also arrived.
Kia: Hey guys, wow, this is amazing. I love this Naomi.
They all hugged and greeted themselves.
Jordan: Why is everybody just assuming Naomi arranged this?
Darnell: Bro, you ain't do shit, we know.
Jordan: (laughs) Well, we both came up with the idea together.
Davita: I believe you Jordan.
Naomi: You guys should sit. There is a lot to drink and eat.
Kia: You ain't got to tell me twice. Babe, should I help you get anything? (she looks at Darnell).
Darnell: Not now. I will have something later.
Naomi: Where in the world are Olivia and Spencer?
Kia: Those two, I better shoot them a text because once they are together, nobody exists.
Darnell: Oh, here they are, babe they are here.
Olivia and Spencer both arrived and greeted everybody.
Olivia: Naomi, this is beautiful, this place is nice. You got my favourite snack too. I love you.
They all laughed.
Jordan: Liv, even you.
Olivia: What?
Jordan: I deserve some credits too.
Olivia: Sit down Jordan.
Jordan: That hurts.
Spencer: (looks at Darnell) You read my message and ignored right? Well done>
Darnell: I was going to reply honestly, but Kia happened. We were both in the middle of
Olivia, Spencer and Jordan: No! We don't need to hear any of that.
They all laughed.
Spencer: Too much information.
They all started to chat amongst themselves and laugh. Then Troy and Simone showed up.
Simone: Hey guys
Simone greeted her friends while Troy went to meet with the boys
Davita: Simone, are you okay?
Simone: Yes, why not?
Olivia: You look pale .
Simone: (smiles) I am perfectly fine. I actually woke up not too long ago before coming down here.
