Olivia: Simone (fake smile) What are you doing here?

Simone: You invited me, remember? (gave her a fake smile).

Olivia: I don't remember doing that.

Simone: Anyway, I am here now.

Jordan: Hi Simone (please sit).

Simone: (smiles) Hi

They all went silent for a while before Olivia finally spoke.

Olivia: (looks at Simone) You have met Spencer and this is Naomi.

Simone: Hi, (looks at Naomi) Your face looks familiar. Have we met before.?

Naomi: It is possible I also attended Beverly high for a while before I left for London.

Jordan remained puzzled about why Olivia invited Spencer. There was silence again at the table. Spencer moved closer to Olivia.

Spencer: I told you I was going to come. You owe me. (he whispers)

Olivia: Yes, lucky you. You just missed Layla.(she whispers back)

Spencer: Really? I couldn't be more grateful to God. I escaped her.

Olivia: (giggles) Be careful, that is my sister.

Spencer: Honestly, I have run out of talks with your sister. It is like we are talking, but she is not listening, she only hears herself. (he whispers)

Olivia: (giggles) Trust me, I know. Layla only hears herself speak.

Jordan: (clears his throat) Guys, I think we should order. (still looking at Spencer).

He signaled the server to their table. As the server takes their order, Spencer moves closer to Olivia again.

Spencer: (whispers) Your brother's lingering glances make me fear for my safety. There's a possibility that he could employ the pillow to smother me during the night. At my funeral, please share kind words and let my mom know that I loved her.

Olivia: (laughs) His eyes could kill you. But I think he has a much bigger problem.

Spencer: (whispers) what is it?

Olivia: Jordan is pretending to be engrossed in his meal because his long-time crush is sitting beside him and there is Naomi.

Naomi: Do you guys know we are here? What are you saying to each other?

Olivia: Nothing, we are just happy to be at the same table together as one big family

Spencer: (giggles) And i thought i was the clown. Who knows, we might actually be one big family in the future.

Jordan: (Gives him a death stare) Stop talking Spencer!

Olivia: (giggles) He is right. You are saying Jargons.

Simone: So Naomi, you and Jordan are... (she looks at her with curiosity)

Naomi: Best of friends. We have been friends since our childhood.

Simone; Oh, I see. (she looks at Jordan).

Olivia: Naomi is a friend of the family. We've been together for a while now. You know, as kids, Jordan and Naomi would always play husband and wife when we do our drama together.

Naomi: Yes, I remember (laughs). Those were the good old days. We would pretend to be husband and wife.

Simone: (looks at Jordan) Interesting.
