Chapter 33

Olivia and Davita got discharged, and they both returned to school. Spencer helped Olivia to get into her room. As they both got inside, he gave her a hug.

Olivia: (smiles) What is that for?

Spencer: I am just happy you are okay.

Olivia: Spencer, you need to breathe. I am fine now. Nothing happened.

Spencer: I know, but what if I hadn't gotten there earlier, Liv? I shouldn't have allowed you to go alone in the first place? (he sat on the bed) I just knew there was something about that guy I don't like and that Chris is an ass.

Olivia: (She sat beside him) Honestly, I was so naïve, too. Thinking I could be friends with someone that already told me about his feelings for me is absurd. So, please stop taking all the blame, babe. I also played a part in this. (She looks into his eyes)

Spencer: Yea, but i knew better, I am a guy. I should have been there with you. I just allowed you to go because I don't want it to look like I am smothering you, babe. You also didn't know you trusted him.

Olivia: Yea, I did. (wears a sad face) But I really want to know why he would want to do that to me. You don't claim to love someone and try to hurt them.

Spencer: Like it is ridiculous. What are you suggesting, babe?

Olivia: I would really want to get to the bottom of the whole thing. Because it looked like a well-thought plan. Then Chris' involvement is crazy, considering the fact that they are not friends. So what is the link between them? How do they know each other?

Spencer: Babe, you are right. We should go see them on Monday. But now, I need you to rest.

Olivia: (smiles and kisses Spencer) Thanks babe.(she sobs) If not for you, those fools would have had their way with me.

Spencer: And i would have killed him and turn myself to the police.

They both hugged each other and sit in silence. Till Spencer broke the silence.

Spencer: Babe, would you come stay at my place for a while? I don't think I want to leave you alone for now. I will be restless.

Olivia: (kisses him) Sure, let me get some of my things.

Spencer left for the sitting room while Olivia went into her room to get her things packed.

Davita: (joins Spencer in the sitting room) How is Liv doing?

Spencer: She is fine.

Olivia came out of the room with her things.

Olivia: Davita, are you okay?

Davita: Liv, I am very sorry. (tears fell on her cheeks) You took me to the party for security reasons and I failed you. I am really sorry

Olivia: (moves closer to her) Come on D. We didn't know we were partying with the devil. (she hugs her) You don't have to feel bad. I am just glad we are both okay.

Davita: Thank you, Liv. I am glad that you are okay. I don't know how i would have lived if something had happened.

Olivia: Davita, I am okay (she smiles) stop beating yourself too much on this. Anyway, I am leaving with Spencer, okay?

Davita: Okay girl. I love you.

Olivia: Love you too.

Spencer and Olivia both left for his apartment.

Darnell's apartment

Kia and Darnell fell flat on the bed. As they also just got back from the hospital.
