Everyone in the room were left in shocked by Zane's behavior, miski ako na nagulat din ay hindi ko alam ang dahilan kung bakit ganoon na lamang ang inasta niya.
"I smell something… fishy" saad ni Athena.
"Oh, bibili ako ng akin." Agad naman nitong ibinalik ang pagkain sa akin dahil napagpasyahan na raw niyang bumili na lang din sa canteen.
Agad naman akong lumabas para maghanda na sa susunod na laban namin ngayong tanghali. Dali-dali akong nakipagkita kay Rylie para magsabay na kami patungo sa designated room ng competition.

I'm very supportive of them, at first I was attracted to him since he's very attractive. Pero as days pass by, nawala rin yun dahil sa mas gusto ko ito maging kaibigan and besides, it's not that deep.
Agad naman akong napansin ni Rylie at tinawag ako nito. Ipinakilala naman ako nito sa babae and knowing Ate Chantal, she's very kind to me. She even wished us good luck and promised to bond with us whenever we're free.
Ang saya, natututo na akong magkaroon ng kaibigan. Tama nga ang sinasabi nila. High school life will definitely give you the best memories you'll cherish forever.
"Anong meron sa inyo ni Ate Chantal?" Tanong ko kay Rylie habang binabaybay ang daan patungo sa room.
"Huwag kang maingay ha! Nililigawan ko 'yon. Pero hindi pa ako sinasagot though I'm not pressuring her." Sagot nito.
"Halata ka naman, anong huwag maingay. Kung makadikit ka baka nga isipin ng ibang students kayo na eh." Sambit ko rito.
Agad naman kaming nagtungo sa room at nagkaroon ng brief orientation ukol sa magiging flow ng contest. Maya-maya pa ay nagsimula na ang laban.
In a white sheet of cartolina, both of us started without further ado. We drew some patterns which would fit the theme. When we're done with sketching, we immediately proceed to put colors into it. We used light colors which will definitely make the patterns stand out. Also, we used darker colors for the background so we can emphasize the main patterns and drawings.
After one hour and thirty minutes, we're already done and just doing some polishing to assure that we didn't forget anything. Agad naman akong nagligpit ng gamit para rin hindi na kami mahirapan mamaya.
Apparently, there is a surprise portion in the competition in which us, the representatives, will explain our poster in front of students. Luckily we have planned the whole poster and we shared ideas during our first meeting that is why we really have gathered information which will be used for our presentation.
But the way Rylie was feeling excited waiting for our turn to be called up on stage was the opposite feeling I have. Hindi naman ako sanay sa public speaking and for sure, I'll stutter and probably feel my body shake as I stand up there.
Agad namang napansin ni Rylie na tila tensed na tensed ako kaya agad ako nitong tinanong,
"Ano? Ayos ka lang ba? Bakit namumutla ka?" Tanong nito.
"Ah oo.. Hindi ba pwedeng ikaw na lang? K-kinakabahan kasi ako.."
Agad naman akong hinawakan nito sa magkabilang balikat at binigyan ng ngiti.
"Kaya natin 'yan. Do it scared." Saad nito
"Do it scared, Ali. Walang mangyayari kung ikukulong mo lang ang sarili mo sa mga nagpapahina sa'yo. Magkasama tayo, kapag wala ka nang masabi, senyasan mo lang ako at ako na ang magtutuloy. Face your fear." He said, trying to lessen the nervousness I'm feeling.
