Captivated - IV OF SPADES

"Grabe titig, ah? Baka in love ka na?"
I threw him a t-shirt from my closet after teasing me that made him laugh even more.
"Pero seryoso, okay lang?" He asked me.
He answered.
"Oh, anong kakantahin niyo?" Tanong ko rito,
"Secret.
I said, and he just rolled his eyes at me.
After preparing, I took a short time to eat breakfast. Zane on the other hand went home first kasi nakalimutan nito ang susi ng motor niya sa bahay ng lola niya.
Napakatino!"
It isn't new to me though.
I was compared a lot of times. I'm pressured so much that it really made me feel exhausted already. All I did was to work hard, sacrifice my energy to study yet she really doesn't appreciate my efforts.
or should I say... Kapag ako ang nangunguna sa klase namin.
"Nagkasabay-sabay po kasi exam namin kaya gano'n. Babawi na lang po ako." I said.
Saad nito.
They're my relatives... or should I treat them like that? As I grew up, there was a realization in me about how they despised my brother before when he confessed about him being a bisexual made me lose my respect for them.
Well sadly, most of them are very religious... which made me think how hypocritical they were. Didn't kindness, respect, and humanity are some of the things that are being taught in church?
Zane messaged me that he'll just wait for me outside of our house. I told him to enter pero sabi nito huwag na lang daw.
With a heavy heart because of how my day started, nagpasya na akong lumabas para kitain si Zane af pumasok na.
"Sorry, I heard tita scolding you. Hindi na ako pumasok to respect your conversation earlier." Saad nito. It wasn't new to him though. He already witnessed them a lot of times scolding me.
Agad itong lumapit sa akin at yumakap, "good morning! Tara na."
"Oo nga pala, Keith. Proud ako palagi sa'yo, ha?" He said.
And, just like a wiper wipes the glass when it becomes moist, his words swept away my sadness and made my mood as clear as a freshly wiped glass.
"I owe you a lot, Zane. Babawi talaga ako!" I responded.
