This wasn't my first, actually, I've been in this kind of situation when I was in elementary. Sa kaibigan ko na nakatabi ko lang before ng upuan at inaya akong sumama sa canteen hanggang sa naging magkasama na kami, but then they moved to Cebu already.
I'm standing here at the front of a huge metal gate contemplating clicking the doorbell. Hawak ko ang isang supot na naglalaman ng t-shirt na ipinahiram niya sa akin kahapon at fruitshake na nabili ko sa may gilid ng school. Luckily, Ma'am Domingo said that the teachers needed to attend a seminar which was the reason why the class was cutted and we were dismissed at lunch.
Kasama ko si Kai kanina na ihinatid ako sa tapat ng bahay nila Zane at agad naman itong umalis dahil sasamahan daw niya ang nanay niya na mamalengke. I was left here, and still undecided whether I'll continue meeting Zane or I'll just wait for him tomorrow.
Pero since nandito na rin naman ako, ay itinuloy ko na lang. I clicked the doorbell for someone to open the gate. I saw a beautiful woman who was confused about who was the one who came.
"Hello, what brings you here?" Shee softly asked me, she looks so kind and pretty, hawig din ito ni Zane kaya naisip kong kapatid niya ito.
"Ah, kaklase po ako ni Zane. ibabalik ko lang po 'tong t-shirt niya." Saad ko rito, kaya naman agad akong pinatuloy nito sa kanilang bahay.
"Upo ka muna riyan, I'll call Ali muna." She said as she went up to the stairs, probably calling Zane.
I stood up when I heard someone come in, he's a tall guy who looked so manly with his attire, he's with a woman who was surprised because of me.
"Hello! Kaklase ka ba ni Ali?" Tanong ng babae sa akin,
"Ah, yes po, ma'am. Sorry for coming unannounced po." Pagpapaumanhin ko rito.
"Buti naman at may dinala na rito 'yan! By the way, I'm Ali's Mother, ito rin ang papa niya." Saad nito.
"Nice to meet you po, ma'am and sir..." Pagbati ko rito and she just she'll just prepare something to eat.
"Keith? Bakit andito ka?" Bungad na tanong ni Zane nang makababa ito,
"Wala, na-cut yung time. Naisip kong idaan na 'tong t-shirt mo." Sagot ko rito.
I handed him his shirt as well as the fruit shake I bought and he thanked me for that. Also, her mother wanted me to stay because she said she cooked something.
"Buti naman at may kaibigan na 'tong si Ali! Alam mo ba hindi pa 'yan nagdadala ng classmates dito maliban kila Kai na kilala niya na since birth." Pagkukwento nito.
"Hindi rin 'yan mahilig makipag-usap kaya nakakagulat lang. Ma, nagbabago na talaga siya." Saad ng ate nito which made Zane roll his eyes.
After a while, his parents decided to leave because they're going to Manila gawang may lalakarin pa sila. Naiwan naman ako at ang ate ni Zane na siyang kumakausap sa akin.
Zane went up since he said he'll just need to get something in his room. He invited me earlier pero hindi ako sumama dahil nahihiya ako.
"Alam mo ba nung elementary, sobrang sungit niyan! Laging naisusumbong sa teacher kasi napakasuplado raw!" Saad ng ate nito.
"Ah hahaha! Ayun din po ang akala ko nung una, pero hindi naman po siya ganiyan sa akin. In fact, mabait po siya sa akin. Medyo tahimik lang po siya at first pero we get along din naman." Sagot ko rito.
"Nakakapanibago lang. Buti at may kausap na siya. We'll finally be at peace Hahahaha charot lang! And oh by the way, ano yung nabanggit ni Ali na Lakan at Lakambini ng Nutrisyon daw?" Tanong nito.
