A few years earlier, Blanc made the difficult decision to reveal her past to James and Morgie. It was shortly after their engagement, and though they were ready to commit to each other for life, Blanc knew she couldn't move forward with the marriage without being completely honest. One evening, she sat them down in their small, cozy living room, her expression unusually serious.
"Guys, I need to tell you something before we can get married," Blanc began, her voice steady but filled with the weight of her secret.
James, always quick to react and fiercely protective, immediately leaned forward, concern etched on his face. "But you didn't cheat, right?" he asked, his tone serious and eyes hardening as if ready to confront any threat to their relationship.
Blanc couldn't help but crack a small grin at his intensity, shaking her head. "No, it's nothing like that," she reassured him, her voice softening. "It's about where I'm from... who I really am."
Morgie, who had always sensed there was more to Blanc's past than she let on, looked up with a mixture of surprise and curiosity. "You're finally going to tell us?" he asked, his voice gentle but eager to understand the woman he loved.
Blanc nodded, taking a deep breath as she began to unravel the story she had kept hidden for so long. She started with the tale of the Queen of Hearts, who had staged a brutal coup that threw her kingdom into chaos. In a desperate attempt to stop the madness, Red, the Queen's daughter, had time-traveled into the past, taking Blanc and Chloe with her. They were supposed to stop the coup, to set things right—but instead, Blanc was left behind, abandoned by those she had trusted.
Her voice wavered slightly as she recalled the pain of being left alone, but she pressed on, explaining how Red and Chloe had cared more about their own survival than about helping her. "They didn't care what happened to me," Blanc finished, her eyes meeting theirs with a mix of vulnerability and strength. "They left me to fend for myself, and I had to build a new life from the ashes of that betrayal."
"That makes so much sense," James said thoughtfully, nodding as he processed the revelation. "They vanished and were never seen again because they time-traveled. I always wondered about that."
Morgie, still trying to wrap his head around the whole story, asked, "So you know the future?" His confusion was clear, but there was also a hint of awe in his voice.
Blanc shook her head, a small, rueful smile playing on her lips. "Just bits and pieces. My stay in the past would have changed some things, but I think the general direction of events should stay the same."
James leaned back, still calculating the implications of everything he'd just heard. "Why did you tell us now? I mean, it doesn't matter anymore, right? We're here, and that's in the past."
Blanc stood up, unable to stay still any longer. She started pacing in front of them, her determination shining through. "It does matter. I want and need revenge. I want to get out of here, and I want power," she said, her voice filled with conviction. She looked at both of them seriously. "I need your help and your support. You need to trust me and my decisions. It's going to take time, but that's okay."
Morgie stood up, taking her hands in his, his eyes full of unwavering loyalty. "Hey, we're going to be with you forever, and if you say you want revenge, you can bet on us to help you."
James also stood up, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, if not us to cause the biggest trouble Auradon has ever seen, then who else?"
Blanc smiled at them, feeling a surge of warmth and gratitude. "But my main priority is Red and Chloe. Auradon is on a good path in the future; we shouldn't change that too much," she said, her expression thoughtful as she weighed the balance between her desires and the greater good.
