In the aftermath of the intense confrontation, the atmosphere on the ship was electric with relief and joy. Mal, freshly transformed back into herself after her battle with Uma, was immediately embraced by Elina, who looked at her with pride. "So, I didn't know I could do that," Mal laughed, still in a bit of disbelief at her dragon form.
"Tell me about it," Evie said, joining the hug with a bright smile.
"That makes three of us," Elina finished, laughing along with them.
The three friends walked together toward Ben and Maddox, who were waiting with soft smiles. Ben pulled Elina into a gentle kiss before looking deeply into her eyes. "Elina, you don't need to be someone else for us. Be yourself—we accept you just as you are," Ben said earnestly.
Maddox nodded, taking her hand. "We'll stay by your side as long as you'll have us."
Elina, moved by their words, gently pulled Maddox closer and kissed him, this time free from any spell. Maddox relaxed into her arms, returning the kiss while Ben watched with a soft smile. What had once been a complicated situation now felt right, even perfect. The crowd around them began to whistle and clap in support of the couple.
Carlos grinned, pulling the boys away playfully. "All right, all right, don't get too excited," he joked, making Elina laugh as she took Maddox's and Ben's hands. Maddox blushed while Ben chuckled at Carlos's teasing.
Adam, watching from a distance with Belle, smiled proudly. "How about that son of mine?"
"Ours," Belle corrected gently.
"And his girlfriend and her boyfriend? I think we're in very good hands here," Belle added, her smile widening.
"Very good hands," Adam agreed. "And not to forget our brave royal advisor. Ben did a great job picking them out."
Back with the VKs, Ben looked at them gratefully. "I owe you guys so much," he said sincerely.
"Yeah," Mal nodded.
"Really," Evie added with a grin.
"Yep," Carlos chimed in.
"You got that right," Jay said.
"Just a little bit," Elina finished with a smile.
"If there's anything you need, or anything I can do for you..." Ben offered, ready to repay their kindness.
Evie's face lit up as she remembered Dizzy. "Actually, there is, Ben. I know a girl who would really love to come to Auradon. It's Drizella's daughter, Dizzy. She's like a little sister to me."
Ben smiled warmly. "Then she should come."
Evie's smile grew wider, and she laughed with relief. "Okay! Okay, great! Actually, um... Ben, there are a lot of kids who would really love it here in Auradon. Kids just like us, who also deserve a second chance. Can I maybe get you a list?"
Ben exchanged a knowing look with Elina and Maddox before nodding. "Yes, yes! Absolutely, please."
The crowd clapped, supporting the idea of more kids from the Isle getting a second chance.
A guard approached Mal, handing her a familiar item. "M'lady Mal, we found your spell book below deck. Uma had it."
Mal took the book and looked at it thoughtfully. "You know, this seems like the kind of thing that belongs in the hands of Fairy Godmother," she said, calling out to her.
Fairy Godmother hurried over, taking the book from Mal. "This belongs in the museum," she said, nodding in agreement.
Mal smiled, feeling a sense of closure. "I'm not going to be needing it anymore."
