The girls arrived at their dorm, taking in the sight of the room with a mix of reactions. The space was adorned in soft pinks and whites, a picture-perfect girly haven that contrasted sharply with their usual surroundings.

Evie's eyes widened in delight as she looked around, "Wow. This place is so amaz—"

Mal cut her off with a grimace of distaste, her face twisted in disgust. "Gross."

Evie quickly corrected herself, nodding in agreement with Mal, "I know, right? Amazingly gross. Ew."

Elina followed them inside, her gaze sweeping over the room with an air of indifference. She stopped between them, her eyes taking in the details before she offered her opinion. "Pretty cute. Needs some green," she commented casually, before throwing herself onto the bed next to the window with a nonchalant flop.

Evie, who had initially been in awe, stole a glance at Elina. She admired her friend's confidence but kept her own thoughts in check, not wanting to face Mal's judgment. Mal, however, just rolled her eyes at Elina's laid-back demeanor.

"Ugh. I'm going to need some serious sunscreen," Mal said, glaring out the window as the bright sunlight streamed into the room, practically blinding her with its intensity.

Elina chuckled and sat up, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "As if you aren't already pale enough. Get some tan," she teased, earning a glare from Mal who promptly took off her jacket and threw it at her friend to shut her up.

"E," Mal said, signaling Evie to close the blinds. Evie moved quickly to comply, pulling the shades down until the room was shrouded in a more comforting dimness.

"Phew! That is much better," Mal said with a satisfied sigh as she turned away from the window.

Elina huffed and pouted from her spot on the bed. "I liked the sun," she murmured, clearly unimpressed with the sudden lack of light.

Later that day, the girls made their way over to the boys' dorm to discuss their plans. Unlike their own room, the boys' dorm had a larger, more rugged feel with darker colors and a woodsy aesthetic. A game station hummed in the corner, adding to the atmosphere of laid-back chaos.

As they entered, Mal headed straight for Jay, who was busy emptying his backpack onto the bed. "Jay, what are you doing?" she asked, her tone a mix of curiosity and impatience.

"It's called stealing," Jay replied proudly, not even glancing up as he continued unloading his loot.

Mal crossed her arms, unimpressed. "Okay, what's the point?"

Jay shrugged, still focused on his task. "Well, Mal, it's like buying whatever I want, except it's free."

Mal chuckled, picking up an item and examining it before tossing it back onto the bed. "Okay. So, you could do that, or you could leave all of this here and pick it up when we take over the world."

Jay rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed by Mal's pragmatism. Evie, who had settled down on a nearby bed, smiled at their exchange. "You sound just like your mom," she commented with a teasing lilt.

Mal turned to Evie, her expression shifting to a mockingly sweet smile. "Thank you," she replied, her tone dripping with faux warmth.

Jay, unfazed by the banter, walked over to Carlos, who was intensely focused on a video game. "You do it your way and I'll do it mine," Jay said.

Carlos still absorbed in the action. "Die, suckers!" he shouted at the screen, then turned to Jay with a grin. "Jay, come check this thing out. Man, it's awesome."

Jay started playing, fully engrossed, while Evie wandered over, intrigued by the game. Meanwhile, Elina was perched on the table, munching on popcorn as she watched the scene unfold with a bemused smile. Mal, growing impatient, leaned against the table next to her and called out to the others.
