The VKs sped towards the shore on their motorcycles, the engines roaring as they raced across the land. Mal, with Celia sitting behind her, chanted, "Noble steed, proud and fair, you shall take us anywhere." The magical spell allowed them to drive seamlessly over the water toward the Isle of the Lost.
"Carlos! You're gonna miss Jane's birthday!" Dude, the talking dog, called out as Carlos zoomed ahead, already focused on their urgent mission.
Meanwhile, at the Enchanted Lake, everything was beautifully decorated for Jane's birthday celebration. The atmosphere was festive, with colorful streamers and balloons swaying in the breeze. Jane looked around, hoping to spot Carlos.
"Looks like Carlos forgot your birthday, huh?" Chad teased from beside her, casually playing with a water gun.
Jane, trying to stay positive, began to explain, "Well, maybe not. Maybe he just took the wrong trail or something. Or, you know what? They probably don't celebrate birthdays on the Isle. Maybe it's like a cultural thing."
Chad nodded absently, "Oh, yeah. Or maybe he just forgot. You never know." He chuckled as he ran off, leaving Jane standing there with a slight frown.
"Hey, Chad, look! There's people taking selfies," Jane called out, noticing some guests posing for pictures.
Chad, ever eager to be in the spotlight, sprinted toward them. "Selfies! Guys! Wait, wait, wait, wait! Wait for me! Wait for me!"
Suddenly, Audrey strutted across the party, drawing everyone's attention. "Why is she here?" someone mumbled, as Audrey looked around with a haughty expression.
"Anybody save me any guacamole?" Audrey asked, stopping a waiter. When she received no response, she pouted and picked up one of Jane's presents. "No? Looks like someone forgot to invite me."
Audrey's eyes darkened as she held the gift, her voice dripping with bitterness. "Well, don't be expecting Mal, she's, uh... not feeling herself. Does that make you sad? Aw, does it just ruin everything? Mindless little drones! How could you forget that I was supposed to be your queen?!" Her voice rose in anger as she shouted at the crowd, her frustration boiling over.
"Time out! Okay, time out," Chad called, bursting out of a bush and rushing toward Audrey. "First off, great new look. I absolutely love the feathers." Audrey grinned at the compliment, and Chad continued, "But before you do whatever you're gonna do, I was wondering if maybe you wanted a, uh, royal boyfriend by your side. Huh?"
Audrey looked at him with disdain. "I have my queen already waiting for me," she replied coldly, making Chad even more nervous.
"Partner in crime? Sidekick? Or maybe just a lackey to, uh, do your bidding. Change tires? Smoothie runs? Huh? Please," Chad pleaded, desperate to find a way to stay on her good side.
Audrey considered his offer for a moment before shrugging. "You can be useful. Fine, stand behind me." Chad hurried to her side, relieved to have a role, even if it was just as her lackey.
Audrey then looked around, her expression darkening. "If Auradon likes to forget so much, they'll love this," she said, raising the scepter as she began to sing.
