It only took about 10 minutes in total for Jade to get her class schedule, which was the same as Leppy's, and they also surprisingly in almost all the same classes as Evermore and Joseph. They were not walking towards where Leppy, Evermore, and Joseph's lockers were, and where Jade's locker was too.
Everyone else in the school was shorter than 6 feet tall, the closest one being a couple of the football players who were around 5'9. When they reached the lockers, Jade paused, looking around blinking, looking at it uncertain. It was like every other locker she'd seen, and it made her think of every other high school she'd been to. She closed her eyes, trying to shake it off quietly.
Leppy noticed and smiled, rubbing her shoulder gently, "Hey, Jade, It's okay. This'll be the last high school you ever go to, okay?" she said, trying to be reassuring to her.
Jade looked to her, before smiling softly and nodding quietly. "Yep, no more moving, getting to hopefully make friends, no more fighting others just because I'm the new kid that they want to pick on." she said, hesitantly, looking back to the locker, before opening it quietly, hesitating at how empty it was, "And no more having to keep myself detached from everyone because if I get attached it'll end in disaster," she said softly, looking to Leppy.
Leppy gazed at her, before smiling gently and wrapping an arm around her shoulder gently, "And, you have me and Joseph and Evermore here to make sure you're never alone here. It'll be fine, I prom-" but she was cut off abruptly, hearing Evermore slam his locker shut and press his back into it, glaring.
"Tch tch tch, now what have the dogs drug in, hmmm?" purred a girl, who looked to be about the same age as Evermore and Joseph, "Isn't this the little school bomber from Westernburg?" the girl purrs, walking over, running a finger along Jade's cheek before she can stop her, "This is even low for your standards, Candy," she said before twirling on her heal, walking away a bit, before twirling back around.
The girl had long brown hair, the hair around her face hanging down around her face, while the rest was in a super fluffy high ponytail, with a couple of silver star hair clips in it. She had a pink floral-patterned blouse on, with a fur-lined black coat over it. She had long shiny black pants on, paired with a pair of glammed-out boots. She had a puka shell chocker necklace, as well as a thin chain paired with a silver cross, with a black gemstone in the center. She had very pale, freckled skin, striking brown eyes, and blood-red lips. She smirks, crossing her arms and watching them.
Leppy narrows her eyes and said, "Screw off Bridget! Just leave us alone!" she said, gripping Jade's wrist a bit protectively. "The government cleared her of those charges, she has every right to be here, same as you and me."
The girl, who was Bridget tilts her head, giving a mock pout, "Aw, have a hurt the puppies feelings? I can't believe they even let that little witch in here after what she did, but since she's running with the dogs now, I'm sure she knows how to play~" she teased, though it didn't reach her eyes.
Jade frowns, watching her, before saying, "I'm not doing anything to hurt you Bridget, same with Leppy, Evermore, and Joseph, so please go away."
Bridget blinks, watching before laughing, shaking her head, "Oh, I see the little skank knows how to talk! I thought you'd only know how to bark with running with the dogs!"
Joseph frowned and said, "Do NOT use that language about her! She hasn't even been here an hour and you don't even know her! Screw off, Bridget."
Bridget blinked, looking to Joseph, "Oh but I do know her, dog, she's the one who BLEW UP MY COUSIN at Westernburg! She doesn't deserve to be here. I don't care what the government says about her, or whatever she went through when she was under the care of those kidnappers, she doesn't deserve to even be alive! It's a pity that even you dogs want her." she said with a scoff, glaring at him.
