When Leppy said off to art class, she should have been a bit more specific. Jade was expecting something like painting which Petal took, or photography which Everly took. No, as soon as she walked in, she was led over to a three-person round table, where she, Zoe, and Leppy were all seated, with a tub of clay in front of them.

Jade gave it a very suspicious look and glanced up at Leppy, "What exactly is art class, Leppy?" she asked, tilting her head cautiously, and glancing back down to the tub of clay.

Leppy grinned and said, "It's making sculptures! It's a detailed-oriented class and Joseph and Evermore did it last year and it sounded like so much fun so I signed up for it this year! You'll love it Jade." she said, grinning a bit and clapping her hands.

Jade, frowns, glancing between Leppy and the tub. She knew what was in it and what it looked like, she'd seen it from a distance, but up close it just looked like a container-shaped green and white blob. "Ah. Got it," she said. She understood the concept, but that didn't mean she knew how it would work, since it looked blurry so close.

Zoe watched, tilting her head before saying, "I just got put in here randomly, they randomized all my classes, but I think I got most of the same ones as you both and the boys." she said, shrugging quietly, before glancing up hearing the teacher come in.

The teacher gave a very brief introduction to the class, taking only about 10 minutes to explain what they would be doing. For the first class, she was going to have them take some portion of the clay in the container in front of them, and use it to make something. It didn't have to look good, it just needed to look like something recognizable. In the end, she'd take their pieces and put them somewhere so that they could continue working on them during the next class. She then dismissed the class to get started on a project.

Leppy and Zoe, both seeming to have understood the assignment easily, started working on their projects. Leppy was wiggling around a lot, working on something Jade was pretty sure was supposed to be crossbones but looked like a giant X. Zoe was working on what looked like a cat's head.

After a couple of moments, Jade realized she hadn't been moving, and pulled some of the clay out, staring at the grey blobby mass in her hands. Not sure what to do, she started to carefully flatten it out into a flat, eye-like shape on the mat that was on the table. She stared at it, trying to figure out if it was the correct shape, tilting her head thinking. As she was about to ask Leppy, Leppy was holding something about 5 inches from her face. It was clay, but she couldn't tell what it was supposed to be.

"Hey, Jade! How is this looking? I'm trying to do chains but I don't know if it looks right." she said, tilting her head and watching her.

Jade gazed at it, not able to see anything but gray, before smiling and nodding to Leppy, "Yep, definitely looks like chains to me!" she said smiling, before gesturing to her own, "Does this look like an eye shape to you?"

Leppy grins, pulling her hand back before looking. She thought for a long moment before grinning and nodding, "It sure does! Any idea on what you're going to do with it yet?"

Jade looked at her, then back to it, and shook her head, "Nope, not a chance. Just doing something random." she said, thinking. After a bit, she started to make balls of clay, rolling them up in her hands quietly, before attaching them around the edge of the flattened shape quietly, starting to hum softly as she worked. After what only felt like 20 minutes, but had been the entire class since Jade couldn't see what she was doing, she jumped as the teacher spoke.

"Alright, everyone! Class is dismissed for the day, I'll gather up your projects and put them in a safe place. Enjoy your next class!" she said smiling at all of them, letting them leave.

Leppy jumped up, bouncing a bit excitedly, while Zoe just smiled and shook her head, "Man is the swim coach going to love you." she said teasingly, before saying, "I'll see you at lunch, I have Dance and Microeconomics next. Then I'll be back with you in Theatre. See ya!" she said, picking up her bag and walking off.

Jade blinked, looking at Leppy confused as she stood, "What did she mean by swim coach?" she asked as she grabbed her backpack. If she was right, that meant they had swimming, which she did not know how to do. It also meant she had to wear a swimsuit meaning part of her back would be exposed.

Leppy grins, taking her hand and walking out of the class with her, "Our PE class is swim class! Swimming is a lot of fun, and it's super easy. From my understanding it kinda lets you do everything someone on the swim team would do, and if you're really good they take the top kids from the class and have them be the school's swim team! It's so much fun." she said grinning and bouncing a bit.

Jade gazed at her, listening and nodding as they left their art class, feeling her heart flutter with anxiety and some fear, "Alright then, sounds interesting." she said. She did not think that Swim class would go over very well.
