Lillian looked at Jade and asked, "What's your full name, age, and birthdate? It's just something on the form that I need, that's all I promise." she explained, digging around in her pocket before pulling out a pen with a pom pom kitten on the end.
Jade listened, a bit uncertain as she kept loving on the kitten in her lap as it started to get tired, curling up in her lap purring. "Jade Amethyst Dev- Heathcliff," she said, almost giving her birth last name, not her new one. "I'm 17, and I was born on June 14th, XXXX," she said softly watching Lillian.
Lillian listens and nods quickly writing down the details, "Can you describe your power at all? What exactly does it do? Leppy neglected to tell me anything about it and Zoe got her phone taken away before she could upload the video."
Jade listened and asked her uncertainly, "How in-depth?"
Lillian listens before standing and getting a tape-recorded putting a tape into it and starting a recording, "As in-depth as possible. The more you say, the better we'll be able to get it registered as a disability."
Jade listened uncertainly, stroking the kitten before nodding, "Okay..." she paused thinking before starting.
"When I first got the power, my body's immediate reaction was to fry my hair, it used to be completely black and mostly straight, but now it's pure white and frizzy like a balloon is constantly rubbed against it. For the first months, I had it, my body acted like a glitching robot, it kinda hurts my head and gave me a headache, it causes a lot of pain in my chest, almost like a rock is about to break my ribs and is pushing all the air out of my lungs and all my muscles tense up and I feel like my whole body is having a charley horse, and my hair to frizz up. It also causes radio voices to fill the air, these glitched black figures that resemble people I've seen to fill the room, and I am physically unable to do anything... earlier today it did something different. For the first time ever I was able to control my body and move on my own, though coordination was practically nonexistent still, and I was able to hold onto someone else while doing it. I was also able to talk but it sounded like the voices you'd hear coming from a radio. The person I held onto though was also glitching like a robot like he'd lost control over his body momentarily. However, the next time it activated it did something different again. The figures became a bit more solid in appearance and their eyes glowed and they had this demonic white smile across their faces. The radio voices solidified into one voice which I think was a projection of my friends voice when her power was activated too, though I don't know how that happened. My body also did this thing where it went completely stiff, my legs painfully straight, my arms flat to my sides, and my head at an unnatural angle with this really wide smile and eyes like this."
Jade then tilted to her head to the side and gave a wide smile making her eyes go wide, but it wasn't quite as wide as when her power was activated. "That's it basically? I'm sorry..."
Lillian was staring at her her eyebrows raised startled before turning off the recording, "Leppy. You. Are. NEVER. Giving. Her. The. Mind. Connection. Power. The only version of it she can have is if it's directly connected to you and you alone. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" she demaneded staring Leppy down. When she raised her voice she accidentally scared the kitten awake. She went over and picked it up off Jade's lap.
Leppy blinks in confusion as Lillian starts to walk off, "What? Why?" she asks watching her.
"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" Lillian called back over her shoulder walking out of the room.
Leppy watched her go in confusion but nodded, "Okay, okay, I won't!" She said uncertainly.
Jade was watching worried and confused, "I... did I do something wrong?" She asked softly, uncertainly as she pulled her legs to her chest, hugging her legs.
