Upstairs, after Molly had sent a quick excited text to Angel, she knocked gently on Leppy's bedroom door before slipping inside. Leppy had all of her homework for the day scattered around on the floor and it was all filled out correctly. She was lying on her back with her arms crossed frustrated.

Molly watched and went over, sitting next to her, "You okay sweetie? I heard what the school did today from Jade. Do you want to talk about it?"

Leppy looked at her frustrated from where she was laying on the carpet, "It's just everything! The school is just so discriminatory against kids with powers! Like, most of the kids in the area Zoe lives in don't even go to school, they do online school! Oh and don't get me on about Bridget, did you hear Bridget tried to kill Jade today?! It's just, ugh!" she said frustrated clenching and unclenching her hands.

Molly watched her gently glancing around, "Is that why you finished all your homework without eating it?" she asked tilting her head.

Leppy looked at her before sitting up and nodding, "What else do I do when I get mad?" she asked, still visibly frustrated.

Molly watched her gently before rubbing her back, "Do your homework then passive-aggressively turn it in the next day unless you like the teacher." she paused, watching her before asking, "Why did you sneak out last night with Jade?"

Leppy blinked, staring at her her frustration disappearing, "How'd you know?" she asked tilting her head, "I thought I was careful this time!"

Molly watched before saying, "For starters, a golf cart doesn't magically face a different direction on its own. Also, you forgot to teach Jade how to sneak out of the house. Her lamp was on, her bed was still done correctly how it was when she made it yesterday morning, she didn't set it up to at least look like she was curled up asleep, and also, your shoes were missing. And, Jade looks worse today than she looked yesterday. That and neither of you responded when I went into either of your rooms at 3 since you both left the lamps on." she explained watching Leppy calmly.

Leppy blinked staring at her before asking, "Why didn't you confront us then? Or tell us off for sneaking out of the house?" she asked tilting her head and shifting to stare at her.

Molly watched her quietly and said, "Because, I know you can protect yourself and I'd rather you go together than one of you alone which would make it more dangerous. That, and I know where you both were, Lillian sent a message saying you both were over at her place." she explained simply.

Leppy stared at her shocked, "I- why didn't you say anything before now?!" she asked shocked staring at Molly.

Molly shrugged and said, "I trust you. Just, tonight Leppy? Let Jade sleep at least tonight, she looks like she's barely functioning. Also, the latest you both are allowed to stay up is 1 am, okay? You both need to sleep more." she said watching Leppy.

Leppy watched and smiled sheepishly giggling, "Okay Mom, will do. I can show her one of those shows I like tomorrow night then?"

Molly watched, thinking before smiling and nodding, "Or tonight, just make sure she's in bed by midnight." she said hugging Leppy gently.

Leppy listened before smiling and giggling, hugging her tightly, "Thanks Mom!" she said happily before pausing, hearing a strange noise before jumping up and dashing down the stairs in a flash.
