Jade looked to the door, frowning softly, hesitant. She had been about to go to sleep, but now hearing the knock at the door, she remembered that Leppy was going to talk to her. She stood quietly, going to the door, peaking it open. Once she saw that it was Leppy, she opened the door, tilting her head.

Leppy put a finger over her mouth, before pulling Jade out of her room, leading her across the hallway and into her room where she closed the door once Jade was inside. She smiles at her, before sitting on her bed, patting the end of it for Jade to sit on, "Okay, I know you have your questions. Start whenever you're ready, and we'll take turns asking questions!" she said grinning at her.

When Jade walked into the room, the entire room was covered in different pink designs, almost like different wallpapers were taped together. The bed sheets had a strawberry design to them, with white for the seeds, she had a couple of shaped pink and white smiling flower pillows, and a soft fluffy blanket, which was mostly at the end of the bed at the moment, with pink and white star designs covering it. Above it, was a framed picture of Leppy with two other boys, both of who looked to be taller than her. Attached to the closet was also a lesbian flag, which was the only part of the room that wasn't white and pink. At the offer to sit at the end of the bed, Jade hesitated momentarily, before going over, sitting quietly, though she didn't sit on it cross-legged in the middle like Leppy did, mostly staying on the edge.

Leppy smiled at her, waiting patiently tilting her head watching her, giggling softly. She still looked so much like a puppy, even in the dim light.

After a moment, Jade hesitated, before asking softly, "How... were you able to sneak up on me so easily at the shuttle station? I didn't hear your footsteps at all."

Leppy listened, tilting her head before grinning, "Oh that's easy! You were distracted with talking to Angel and I can run and walk really quietly when I want to." she said grinning at her, before patting the bed, urging Jade to get comfortable. She thought, before smiling and asking "What was the name of your pet growing up, and what type of animal was it?" she asked, tilting her head and grinning at her happily.

Jade blinked, hesitating, before saying softly, "I never got to own a pet as a kid. Mom was allergic to most animals and Dad said there was no room to have a pet, even one as small as a hamster or a mouse." She explained simply, watching Leppy gently. She had a feeling though there was more to Leppy's question that she was holding back.

Leppy listened, blinking surprised before pouting, "Your old parents don't sound that nice. Mom says there's always room for an animal in the house, even if it's as small as a mouse!" she said pouting softly.

Jade listened before shrugging quietly and saying softly, "It's fine. I was okay, I kinda gave up on asking for pets after first grade..." she said, her voice dropping slightly to a whisper. After a bit, she looked at Leppy again, asking softly, "Did you have pets growing up?"

Leppy listened, watching her gently and a bit sympathetically. At the question, she grins, "We've had a lot of dogs growing up! Mom fosters dogs until they're ready to go to their new home, and it's so much fun with some of them. I think she is bringing another one home in a few weeks." She said, smiling at her gently.

Jade blinks, listening a bit surprised, having not quite expected that. "She never keeps any of them?" She asked, tilting her head in a bit of confusion.

Leppy grins and giggles, "Technically, that was a second question, but no. She doesn't. She feels that it's better to get them ready for their new home than to have our own pet... it's sad, sometimes, but it's really good. I like it." She said, smiling at her gently.

Jade listens, before giving a weak smile, "It sounds like fun at least." She said softly watching her, "Better than never having a pet at all."

Leppy smiled and giggled softly, nodding in agreement, before saying, "Yep! And since you accidentally asked me two questions, that means I get to ask you two~" she teased, grinning at her, before thinking "Hmmmmmm" she thought to herself, before smiling at her, "How many schools have you been to?"
