Shortly after Evermore led them off, they reached their lockers where Joseph opened his locker and pulled out two outfits. One was a neon shade of pink with puppies on it and the other was black with white stars scattered across the fabric, both were dresses. He then handed each of them one of them, "Now, go change then we'll go back to the cafeteria to finish eating. I'd tell you both to wash your hair as well, but they lock the shower rooms during lunchtime since all the P.E. classes are done for the day."
Leppy listened and grinned brightly, hugging Joseph, "Thank you, Joseph! We'll be right back!" She said, before grabbing Jade's hand and practically dragging her off to the nearest girls' bathroom. Once she got there, she pulled Jade in with her to one of the larger double-sized ones, locking the door quietly, "It's a bit easier to change in this one than any of the others. We'll be fast, it'll be fine. I'll face one way, you face the other." she said shrugging, watching Jade.
Jade listened, uncertain but nodded understanding, "Alright then, if you're sure." she said softly, facing one half of the stall while Leppy went to the other half. As she was about to change into the dress, she paused, tilting her head, before asking, "How did Joseph know what size I was without checking first?" she asked softly, taking the shirt off quietly to change.
Leppy grins and giggles, taking off her skirt and sweater, facing a different direction, "He doesn't. One of his powers involves sewing. Whatever he sews, doesn't matter the size it was when he made it, it automatically changes to that person's size and such. It's actually really interesting! And a bit more useful than most of mine. His also applies to shoes, but he's not the best at those, he's still figuring that part about his power out." she explained, shrugging.
Jade listened, slipping on the dress carefully as it fell to just below her knees. For a moment when she first put it on she felt like ants were crawling all over her before it stopped. "How many powers do Joseph and Theo have? She asked out of curiosity, carefully folding up her soaked shirt.
Leppy listened, slipping her dress on, and said, "Both of them have three, four counting the mind connection one. You can ask them about their powers during lunch or after detention." She explained. "Safe to turn around?"
Jade listens and nods, "It's safe." She said, turning around quietly. "How exactly did they do the powers? Like, why do you have one more than both of them?"
Leppy shrugged and said, "They did it by age. Every birthday you had you'd get another power. You'd be born with the mind one, but you couldn't access it until you were 3."
Another voice, a males, said "They stopped giving powers at 18. Usually, they took the DNA from those who made it to 18, especially the eggs from the girls, to make more because they have the 6 feet or taller gene. The most powers they were able to have in one person was 19, but those kids were over 7 feet tall, naturally."
Jade jumped, looking around startled, before noticing a boy standing between them. It was the same boy from the memory Leppy had shared with her. Up close, he stood at about 5'8 even though he was only 12. He also now had X-shaped scars across both of his eyes, and there was a scar across the top of his nose between his eyes. He was watching Jade cautiously.
Leppy jumped surprised before grinning brightly, "Big brother! It's so good to see you!" she said, going to hug him before falling onto the floor, his legs through her torso, shuddering. "Dang it I keep forgetting that doesn't work!"
The boy chuckles and backs away, crouching down looking at her, "Leppy, it only works with Evermore around you know. Mata, asoko no onnanoko wa anzen desu ka? Kanojo wa gakkou no bakuha han de, mae no gakkou no hoka no kodomo tachi wa koroshi mashi ta." he said, switching from speaking english to Japanese.
