Around 11am....

Haseena stood by the window, looking outside as it was raining lightly, her mind was occupied with the thoughts that she would be admitted to the hospital that night. Sensing her unease, Karishma approached her gently, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Karishma.....let's go for a walk." Haseena said turning to face her.

"In the rain?" Karishma glanced outside.

Haseena nodded, and a faint smile touching her lips. "Yes, sometimes the rain knows how to wash away the tears we can't shed openly."

Understanding her inner turmoil,Karishma nodded and followed Haseena outside. As they stepped into the gentle rain, droplets began to soak through their clothes.

"No more fear of getting drenched?" Haseena looked at her.

Karishma shook her head, "No, my fear of the rain seems so small now. There are bigger fears to face."

Haseena smiled faintly, understanding the meaning behind her words of fear, briefly nodded and held her hand before started walking.

"Haseena, it's getting fast....you can get cold."

It's been just 10 minutes passed when Karishma said as the rain intensified, Haseena nodded looking at the rain  and they both headed towards a shade nearby. They settled onto a bench beneath the shade while listening to the rhythmic patter of rain which was providing a soothing backdrop.

"Kia chal raha ha ap kay dimag ma ?" Karishma asked breaking the ice.

"Bohat kuch..." Haseena said as her eyes were fixed on the rain soaked road.

"Don't hold it back," Karishma urged softly. "Humary sath share kijeyay, please."

Haseena hesitated, before saying, "I'm thinking... Agar hum survive nae kar paty tou us kay bad ap ki life kasi ho gi...?"

Karishma's heart clenched at the admission. She reached out, taking Haseena's hand in hers. "Hum nay bataya ta, ap ko hum satisfied hun gay kay atleast hum nay try tou kia, hum nay give up nae kia..."

"Nae Karishma yeh humry liyay enough nae ha, ap ki yeh ak line humri fikar ko khatam nae kar sakti ha, humen tasali nae day sakti ha." Haseena admitted.

Karishma nodded. "Okay, let it all out. Say whatever is in your heart, batyay humen, hum samjny ki khosis Karen gay"

Haseena turned to Karishma, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She reached out, gently taking Karishma's hand in hers, squeezing it softly. "Can you promise me something, Karishma,"

"What is it?"

"Promise me you’ll let yourself be happy, no matter what happens tomorrow."

A lump formed in Karishma's throat. "How can you ask me that when my happiness starts and ends with you?"

Haseena gave a soft, broken laugh. "Because your happiness matters more to me than anything. Even if I’m not here to see it, I need to know you’ll find happiness again."

"Haseena, don't talk like this. You’ll be fine. We’ll be fine." Karishma placed her hand over Haseena's, squeezing gently.

Haseena shook her head, and a bittersweet smile on her lips. "I want to believe that too. But if things don’t go the way we hope… I need to know you’ll keep going. Promise me that, Karishma."

Tears blurred Karishma's vision. "You’re asking me to do the impossible. To act like this is just... another day of my life when it’s not. I can't forget, I just can’t..."
