but that never happened. there was never a call, and not even a text as it neared the last couple hours of the day. and it was all due to the fact he was still convinced she meant nothing, and was now purposely not talking to her because his new belief was;
i only thought about her cause i had talked to her
which meant he was now avoiding anything to do with her. but if he was being honest it wasn't making any difference, and if anything he was now thinking about her more. she was stuck in his head. he just wanted to hear her voice.
he debated getting on tinder and finding someone to hookup with to put his theory to a test, but at the back of his mind he was wondering what estelle would be thinking.
with little hesitation and not one text to the girl to see if she was free, he decided to call her.
maybe i should've texted her
he softly hummed as the call continued to ring, sat in his bed with his gaze on the tv across the room, barely paying attention to the random movie he selected.
sighing as he pulled his phone away from his ear, plopping it down on his bed and then folding his arms as he decided to actually focus on the movie.
hearing his phone begin ringing only seconds later, he quickly grabbed it, seeing a incoming call from 'essie phx'. waiting a couple seconds before accepting it.
"hey phoenix," zach answered.
"hi.." estelle spoke in her oh so soft tone from the other end. "you called?"
"yeah, i wanted to talk to ya."
"oh okay.."
"are you free to talk?"
"yeah, yeah i am."
"so what are you up to?"
"i was reading more of my book.."
"ohh, the one you were telling' me about? that dirty book," he said somewhat seductively.
"icebreaker.. yes.."
"you should read me some of it," he smirked.
"i don't know about that.." she giggled.
"ugh why not?" he playfully groaned.
"what if my parents hear.."
"do they hear you talking to me?"
"i don't think so.. but i'd rather them hear me just talking to you and not me reading something sexual.."
