Taylor's POV:
My mom was on her way home after I called and told her that I desperately needed to talk to her. Since she's the owner of the Laker's, she's rarely ever home.
I was pacing back and forth in the living room. I don't know how I'm going to tell her that she's going to be a grandmother soon.
Then suddenly, I heard her car pull up in our driveway. I watched her silhouette from the window step out of the car and walk to the front door. She walked in and shut the door.
"Hey, is everything alright?" she asked in a concerned voice.
"I'm not sure, mom. Can we sit?"
"Okay, but make it quick. I have a meeting at 2:00 that I need to prepare for."
We took a seat at the kitchen table. I sat across from her.
She crossed her arms and placed them on the table. "What's going on, Tay?"
I took a deep breath. "Mom, I'm pregnant."
She froze in shock.
"I'm sorry, what?" she asked.
I couldn't even find the strength to repeat myself. I just took the positive pregnancy test out of my pocket and placed it in the middle of the table.
My mom looked down at the test. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She covered her mouth in shock.
"Taylor, how could you be so stupid?! We've talked about s*x and taking your pills on time!"
I looked down in disappointment. "I'm sorry, mom. I wasn't thinking and just forgot to take them."
She buried her face in her hands and shook her head for a couple seconds. She took a deep breath.
"Is it his?" she murmured.
"Yeah, it's Bronny's."
She sighed. "Have you told him yet?"
"I've tried reaching out to him about it but he's been ignoring me." I said emotionally. I covered my hands with my face and began tearing up a little.
