Sophia's POV:

I woke up the next morning just in time for my 11:30 AM American Politics class. I had barely slept last night. All I kept thinking about was the conversation Bronny and I had together. As much as I wanted to hate him, I knew I had to forgive him, for the sake of our child. As I'm lying there, the sound of Angeline unlocking the door snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Good morning, Soph. You have class in an hour." She had just came back from her 9:00 AM English class.

I mumbled, still very sleepy. "I know."

Angeline placed her bag on the floor and walked towards me, still lying in bed with the blanket pulled over my head.

"I think you should see this." She said, showing me her phone screen.

I rubbed my eyes and squinted at the phone. It was a post from TheShadeRoom with a clear photo of me and Bronny outside the restaurant last night.

(y'all please, i know this looks nothing like him. just go with it 💀)

"And that's not even the worse part

"And that's not even the worse part." Angeline continued. "Fans are starting to connect the dots because there were pictures of D'Angelo and me at the game last night, and you were in those shots too... wearing this exact same jersey."

My stomach dropped as she said those words. My mind raced, and I could feel panic rising. "Is this really happening?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"Yeah it's real." Angeline said. "I saw it on my way to class earlier and knew you needed to know."

I sat up quickly and began panicking a bit. "What if they figure out who I am??"

Angeline sat down beside me. "Look, Sophia, you can't let this stress you out. You're pregnant, and that's the most important thing right now. You need to stay calm for yourself and the baby."

I took a shaky breath, trying to steady my nerves. "But what happens if they do figure out it's me?"

"We'll handle it." Angeline assured me. "I'm here for you, and we'll figure this out together."

I nodded, calming down a bit. She really knows what to say and how to calm me down. "Thanks, Angie. I really don't know what I would do without you."

She smiled. "That's what I'm here for. Now, go get ready for class. Everything else can wait."

I exhaled, feeling a bit more grounded. As much as the world outside seemed to be closing in on me, I wasn't facing it alone.
