11:30 AMSophia's POV:
It's been 3 weeks since I found out about Taylor's pregnancy on Instagram. Bronny had absolutely no right to keep that from me. He tried contacting me about it the day after I found out but I just ignored his messages and calls. I'm at the most fragile stage of my pregnancy and I wasn't trying to miscarry due to stress.
Today was Labor Day and that meant tomorrow was also the first day of classes at USC. Angeline and I had to move our stuff into the upperclassmen dorms, even though we shared an off-campus apartment. My full-ride scholarship required me to live on campus since it covered not just my tuition but my room and board as well.
Unfortunately, I couldn't help her move our stuff in because I had my follow-up doctor's appointment with Dr. Porter today. Thankfully, D'Angelo was available and helped her instead.
"Are you sure you guys don't need any help?" I asked packing the last of my things into the back of D'Angelo's Mercedes G-Wagon.
"No, we got it all figured out." D'Angelo said.
"We're good, Soph. We don't want you stressing or straining." Angeline said hugging me.
"You can take my car to go to your appointment." she said, handing me the keys to her Mercedes Benz S-Class.
"Thanks, I'll see you both soon."

As I'm lying down in the doctor's office, Dr. Porter placed the ultrasound gel on my belly. The cool gel sent shivers throughout my body as Dr. Porter moved the ultrasound wand around. I held my breath.
"There." she said while pointing at the screen. "You can see the baby right there. You're about 10 weeks today, making the fetus the size of a prune. Other than that, everything looks good!"
I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding and felt a wave of relief. "Is everything... normal?"
Dr. Porter nodded. "Yes, everything looks perfectly fine. The baby is growing well, and you're right on track for how far along you are. Have you been feeling alright?"
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to share. "Physically, I'm okay. But emotionally, it's been tough."
She looked at me sympathetically. "That's completely understandable. Pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially with everything else you have going on. It's important to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally."
"I'm trying." I said, feeling the weight of the past few weeks pressing down on me. "But it's hard when things are just... so complicated."
"Remember Sophia, it's okay to feel overwhelmed."
Easy for her to say. She doesn't have any baby father drama like I do.
"Don't hesitate to reach out for support if you need it. Whether it's friends, family, or even a therapist. You don't have to go through this alone." she said reassuringly.
I smiled and nodded but my thoughts were elsewhere. Bronny. Taylor. The tangled mess that was now my life.
Dr. Porter finished up the ultrasound and handed me a towel to wipe the gel off. "You're doing great, Sophia. Just keep taking it one day at a time."
"Thank you, doctor. I'll try."
