"There are so many things I want to tell you. I can't tell you because such things don't exist in the world we live in, but I will just lock myself in a different world for a moment and tell you all that I want to say if I were by your side.
You are special. But don't let that get to your head. Everyone is special, and I can say this now because I believe in God and the fact that there is a reason behind my and your existence. You have something nobody else has, and what that is, is yours to find out while you still have the opportunity to breathe.
I know you are going through a lot that you can't share with anyone, especially your parents and guardians. I know you are terrified about tomorrow and have nights when you can't sleep at all. I know you think you loved that boy but ended up getting broken after finding out there was no such thing as "forever" in the place you are in. I know you think of yourself as a failure sometimes and wonder how it would be if you were born as a different person. I know you don't think you can make it out of that darkness you are in, or even be an adult in the future. I know you are trying hard to make your parents proud, but somehow you think you are never good enough for them because they never acknowledge your accomplishments. I know if you read this now, you'd cry and cry because you believe nobody else understands you but yourself.
I wouldn't be here today without you. All the things I have achieved in my longest, yet short life, I couldn't have achieved them without you. Yes, there are harder days ahead, and those doubts and insecurities you feel now may come back to haunt you again and again. But it is worth it because, at the end of the day, here I am, doing all the things I dreamed of. All of the things I aspired to be, I got them and am still getting it all. I will not stop going after the purpose of my existence until my last breath"
Being a teenager is like a rehearsal for adult life. You go through bumps and roadblocks, but there will always be people around to guide and correct you. Everyone around you has a different story to tell. Some experience love from parents, some from strangers. Some have the quietest teenage life, while others have the loudest life. We are all different and special. One mistake as a 16-year-old is not the end of your life. By the will and power of God, you have more years ahead of you to gain all the things you ever wished and hoped for. There is no need to rush because trust me, everything will make sense to you when the time comes.
So dear teenagers, breathe. Breathe, relax, and enjoy every moment of your journey from 13 to 19. It is one of the most precious times of your life. It is the time you learn to discover yourself and prepare for the realer world ahead of you. Accept yourself as you are, correct what you think should be corrected, and appreciate each day. Honor your parents and reliable friends. Learn to love, but start with yourself first.
I am praying for the best for each and every one of you. May God make it easy for you, Ameen.
