“Kids. Hurry! Get up," I tried rocking them both awake but it was a bit of a task since they were in deep slumber but despite the challenge I got them up, had them put on a coat and then the three of us made our way to the outside where the jeep was parked and filled with all of our important documents and also a week worth of clothes for each of us in the trunk. I have no idea where we're going but we're going somewhere and this is the perfect time to leave seeing that Andrew wasn't home.

After securing them into their seat belts I quickly ran around to the other side of the car which was already running and all that was left to do was put it in drive and that I did as I then made my way around the fountain and down the hill to the front gate where the security guards gave me a bit of a hassle for some reason by not wanting to open up the gate. And before I knew it, Andrew's car pulled up at the gate and there was no longer a doubt in my mind as to why they did what they did. Someone must've called Andrew when they picked up on what I was doing. At the time I wasn't thinking because I was in such a rush but I'm sure when I kept going back and forth to the car and into the house that it caught someone's eyes but where's their loyalty to me? Why would they call Andrew and tell him that I'm trying to leave?

Slipping through a small opening that the guards made with the gate, Andrew came towards the car and knocked hard on the window, shouting, "where do you think you're going with my kids," but I hadn't answered. He then yelled, "Kendia, don't make me break this glass! Open up the damn door!"

"No," I shook my head as I kept my head forward.

"Open up the damn door, Kendia," he shouted but my response remained the same. After pacing the floor and hitting himself in the head, Andrew took his stance once again at the door and this time in a much calmer manner, he asked me to again open the door. However, after he realized that the calmness didn't work and I kept denying his request, he begun to raise his voice again at me as he vigorously shook the door handle and beat with his fist on the glass, commanding that I open up the door so that he would get the kids and he promised that if I do, he would let me go about my way; but I knew that was a lie straight from the pits of hell.

"I'm not opening the door," I told him.

"Where do you think you are going with my kids," he questioned, "because you aren't leaving with them out of this gate. I could promise you that!"

"I am leaving with them…They are my kids!"

"No, you're not going anywhere! You wanted me to stay home from my trip with you, correct? Fine, I'm home, but now that I'm home because you caused the trip to be canceled over your bad behavior, now you wanna leave!?" He chuckled maniacally as he said, "Nah man! You're not going anywhere, especially not with my kids.”

“I am and again, they are my kids.”

“Where do you think you're going with my kids, Kendia," he questioned.

“We're going out.”

“Out where,” he questioned. “Don't be vague with me right now.”

“We're going over to mom's.”
