Meanwhile, Siya and Shaurya arrived at ASR Enterprises."Thank you so much for everything. Please forgive me, if I caused you any trouble," Siya said.
Shaurya smiled at her words.
"Not at all! In fact, I really enjoyed talking to you."
He replied, placing a hand gently on her head.
"Okay, Uncle, I'm leaving now."
Siya said as she started to get out of the car. But Shaurya stopped her.
"Wait a minute, Siya."
"Yes?"
Shaurya hesitated for a moment before speaking.
"Siya, I want to ask you not to tell Arjun that you met me, went to my house, or talked with me. Don't mention any of it to him. Okey?"
"Why?" Siya asked, surprised.
"Arjun hates two things, firstly people disobeying him and secondly me. You did both. Arjun might take it in a wrong way. He could get angry and it might cause a misunderstanding between you two. Right now, your relationship is fragile, and I don't want anything to go wrong because of me. So, please don't say anything to him."
"So you want me to lie to Arjun?" Siya asked.
"When did I say that? I'm just asking you not to tell him right now. You can tell him when the time is right, but not now, okay?"
Siya thought about it and realized Shaurya was right. If she told Arjun about meeting his father, he would likely be furious, and worst of all, he might end up hurting himself again.
"Okay, I won't say anything to him for now."
She got out of the car and went into the office.
As soon as Siya entered the office, she noticed the cheerful atmosphere. Everyone seemed very happy.
After that incident, here people had almost forgotten how to smile, but now everyone was happy again. Feeling curious, Siya spotted Netra, one of her colleagues, and asked her.
"What's going on? Why is everyone looking so happy?"
Netra looked at her.
"Hey, don't you know? We just landed a huge deal. That's why everyone is so excited. Anyway, I've got to go."
With that, Netra left, and Siya headed toward Arjun's office.
When she entered, she saw Arjun on the phone.
As soon as he heard the door open, he looked up, saw Siya, and quickly ended the call. He then walked toward her with big strides.
Before Siya could react, Arjun wrapped his strong arms around her, pulling her into a hug.
Her body stiffened at his touch.
"Thank you, Siya!"
Arjun whispered in her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
They both stepped back, and Siya looked at Arjun, her breath catching in her throat.
Arjun was smiling, not a fake or mocking smile, but a small, genuine one.
