I'm so sorry, dear readers! Please forgive me for the long wait. I know it's been 10 days since the last update, and I truly apologize. I don't know what happened - my mind just went completely blank, and I couldn't decide what to write. This update was really tough for me, especially since we're nearing the end of the story, everything felt so overwhelming and mixed up. Plus, after Diwali, I had to shift to a new home, so things got even busier, and I couldn't find the time.
But now, I promise to bring you regular updates every alternative day from here on out. Only two chapters left, please forgive me and enjoy the story! Love you all so much♥️------------------------------------✨
AUTHOR'S POV

.
Arjun groaned in pain as he slowly started to wake up. His whole body was hurting, and everything around him was dark. He tried to open his eyes, and when he did, he saw he was in a hospital. All the memories of the past events rushed back to him. He tried to move, but it felt like his body had no strength.
He looked down and saw Siya sleeping in a chair next to him. Her face looked very tired, there were dried tears on her cheeks.
When Arjun saw her, a small smile appeared on his face. He remembered when she told him that she still loved him. That was enough to make him want to fight, even if it meant fighting from death.
Until now, Arjun never wanted to live. His only goal was to get revenge for his mother and punish her culprits. But when Siya told him she loved him, he felt something new.
For the first time, he felt like life could be beautiful. He wanted to live a peaceful life with his wife and their baby. For the first time, he wanted to live.
After a lot of effort, he lifted his left hand and gently stroked her hair.
Feeling the movement, Siya quickly opened her eyes and saw that Arjun was awake. A big smile appeared on her face.
"Arjun, you're awake! Thank God!"
She exclaimed, gently touching him, careful enough to not hurt him.
She took his hand in hers and asked, "Are you feeling better? Does it hurt anywhere?"
He smiled at her and answered, "Not at all." When he saw the confused look on her face, he quickly added, "Well, okay, maybe a little pain, but not much. And what about you? Are you okay? Are you hurt? And our baby... is the baby okay? Nothing happened, right?"
He asked her many questions, his worry growing as he noticed her bandages.
Hearing his worried voice, her heart filled with happiness, realizing how much he cared for her. Despite his pain, he was more concerned about her.
She cupped his face in her hands and kissed his forehead gently.
"Both the baby and I are fine. Don't worry. Just focus on getting better, and everything will be okay soon."
She said, trying to comfort him. Her words brought peace to his heart.
"Okay, you stay here. I'll call the doctor. They told me to inform them as soon as I woke up. I'll be right back."
Siya said before quickly leaving the room to call the doctor.
A few moments later, everyone arrived. A full team of doctors started examining him.
Aarav had also arrived by then. He had been with Siya at the hospital all night but had to go to the office in the morning for important work. As soon as Siya called him, he rushed back.
Once the doctor finished checking Arjun, he turned to Siya and said, "There's nothing to worry about now, Mrs. Rathore. Mr. Rathore is completely fine and out of danger. The wound is deep, so there will be some pain, but it will heal with time. He'll need to stay in the hospital for two days, and then we'll discharge him."
