Lainey turned in the money as soon as possible the next day and then headed to training.
She met up with Pin as they rode to the tree where the team met up before their sessions. Everyone was there with their horses and Callum had a second black horse with sleek hair that was already tacked up.
They came to a stop in front of them, "Nice horse," Pin complimented.
"This is Jet," Callum introduced. "Thought you could try him out for the day. If you guys get along, he's yours. For nationals."
He looked at him confused, "You want me to ride a different horse?"
"Jet is an Irish Sport horse," Alex explained. He was one of the best horses they had.
"Which makes him a great match for your skill set."
Lainey looked at him sceptically, "Elvis is just as capable."
Callum raised his hands, "I'm not saying he isn't. I just want to give Pin the best chance. Better horses, better chances we win."
"Jet is pure strength and muscle, just give him a go," Alex begged as the blonde stretched his hand out to Pin with the reins. "Don't feel it? Use Elvis."
He smiled at them and patted his horse, "thanks, but Elvis and I are fine," he told them before trotting off. Lainey smiled smugly at Callum before going after Pin to practise their jumps.

Before Danny was supposed to have a training session with James and Angel, he was stopped by his cousin who called a meeting.
"As of this moment, no one, absolutely no one, is to be caught cavorting with anyone from Holloway," Mia announced, sounding pissed off. Daniel looked at her confused. "And yes, Zoe, that does apply to a certain traitor, who's name I can't even bear to speak."
"She means Pin," Becky said, annoyed, leaning on a shovel.
She shrugged, uncaring, "don't worry. He chose his side. I chose mine."
Mia nodded, "good, make sure it stays that way," she glared, going to leave before Danny called out.
"Uh, Li? What about... I don't know the one that I live with?" He questioned, chuckling.
She glared at him, "You live in opposite rooms, avoid her, ignore her if you must." He shook his head.
"Unbelievable. You really think I'm going to stay away from my own sister, sorry, Mia, you're mental," Danny said, grabbing Angel's reins and heading out to the paddock.
Zoe ran after him, "hey, I'm sorry about her. I'm sure Pony Squad and I could help you sneak around if you needed."
The boy scoffed, but smiled at her, "don't be, she's practically my other sister. I know how to handle her. She's not going to do anything to me if I talk to my own sister, but thanks. She still loves all of you, just busy training like we are." Zoe nodded, but looked down.
"Yeah, still feels like she abandoned us though."
Danny stopped walking and looked at her, "don't do that."
"What?" She asked, looking around.
"That! Make it seem like it's her fault for taking a good opportunity. It's like shaming Marcus 'cause he left for the academy–"
She shook her head, "that's different. He's not riding for the enemy."
Daniel laughed without any emotion, "the enemy? They're just people, Zoe! They're a team like us, who care for each other and their horses, they're just better at winning!" The girl crossed her arms and turned away from him. "Yeah, go ahead and walk away! Just like you're doing with your friendships!"
