"I was promised a fucking party, not a miserable way to become suicidal"

Felix's deep and annoyed voice overpowers the wind whistling the trees and shrubs as he stomps over a patch of overgrown grass with petulance. "I took pre-party shots and wore glitter!" His banter continues, arms crossed over a silver, overly glittery, sleeveless tank top while his face is contorted into annoyance "Like we love you Seungmin, but seriously? This is how you want to spend your birthday?" Felix looks up at his friend who is walking ahead of him on the hiking trail, arms locked with his boyfriend as he smiles with utter glee staring up at the cloudless sky

"Yes!" He announces with all the zeal in the world and huffs echo in the melodic nature when Jisung catches up with them finally, slower than Felix who is a hundred percent not interested in this stupid hike. "I have never hated this bitch more" comes the squirrel-looking boy's breathless words, trying his best to not drop down on the ground even if it has only been fifteen minutes since they started this.

After having distracted Seungmin by hanging out with him and then taking him to the 'location' Changbin texted him, Felix assumed this was some sort of camp-themed birthday party, not literal camping. If it wasn't obvious enough that he wasn't made aware of this hike by his glittery makeup, flashy and partially revealing outfit then it was by his sour mood.

Jisung was no fan of the camping trip either, although he wasn't dressed unaccordingly like Felix because he was pre-informed, he still wore the same disinterest Felix did on his face, their grunts and groans matched perfectly the further they walked up the trail. "Will you two quit it?" Minho had been silent throughout the better part of the evening but now that they have been here for a good amount of time and the pairs' displeased harrumphs are still not stopping, he believes he has to speak on it

His hand laces Jisung's as they catch up to Felix and he turns his neck to glare at the blue-haired instead of his boyfriend "Both of you are being selfish" Minho states like he's the prime example of good friendship and Felix rolls his eyes, understanding the older was correct "Yes! This is Min's day, not either of yours" Changbin butts in, looking over his shoulder to stick his tongue out at Felix who fights the urge to roll his eyes at him when Seungmin turns to look over them as well, smiling at Felix and motioning him to walk over

"It'll be fun, lixie" The man assures his friend as Felix jogs over to him, careful not to twist his ankle with his heavy beige boots on the pebble-adorned trail. The blue-haired runs up to his best friend, smiling softly when he locks his arms with Seungmin's "I'll shut up for you" Felix's nose scrunch earns a giggle from Seungmin and it does not take long for the topic to shift to something else.

Moving in with Hyunjin has been a surprisingly delightful experience, the new arrangement comes almost naturally to both of them. Everything flows with perfect cohesion when half of the time they're too overindulged in each other intimately and the other time they're surrounded by work. Felix had made a decision to return to work swiftly and it has been going well, like it always is

Unfortunately, he hadn't had the opportunity to meet Jungkook since the man had to go overseas to tend to some business but they have been occasionally chatting on the phone, casual conversations as if they were friends. Hyunjin on the other hand, wasn't particularly thrilled about Felix's return to work but he had done the decent thing and stayed silent as he was supposed to

However, upon his pleading, a few guards still accompanied Felix from a distance when he had gone to work and back home. Felix found the guards weren't as much of a bother as he had been worried they'd be, with the distance they kept they were almost unnoticeable.

When Felix had questioned Hyunjin if he'd be coming to this god-awful shambles of a birthday party, Hyunjin had said 'he'll see' if he could make it out of work and Felix had no hopes he'd be coming, and now as he awaits his presence going up and up the trail, his disappointment only becomes tangible on his face when his constant peeking over his shoulder is pointed out by Seungmin
