"Turn around, Vixen"

surprise and perplexion coat Felix as he stops in his tracks, and repeats Hyunjin's words in his head before looking to his left, then to his right with the phone still pressed against his ear and his eyebrows still furrowed. At last, he finally turned around and what he saw shocked him to his core. His mouth fell apart and his eyes widened "Hyunjin?" he let out in sheer astonishment and the blond smirked, stepping closer as he hung up the call and shoved the phone in his pocket.

"Hello, Felix" Hyunjin stands just a few steps away from Felix, and the blue-haired still hasn't recovered from his initial shock. He really can't fathom how and why Hyunjin was here, right in front of him. "Where did you come from?" Felix queries, putting away his phone and closing his shocked mouth as he stepped toward Hyunjin as well, making the space between lesser. "I was heading somewhere, and you were here too" Hyunjin states and Felix looks around, finding the street completely empty "How long have you been behind me, why didn't you say anything?" Felix has a thousand questions and Hyunjin doesn't mind answering them as he takes a step to continue walking

his hands land in his slacks' pocket, his long coat swaying in the air as Felix joins him as well, keeping his eyes on him "Five minutes" Hyunjin states truthfully and looks at Felix who still has shock written on his face "So bizarre" the blue-haired states, shaking his head and looking forward but Hyunjin doesn't look away "Don't want me here?" He queries even though he knows the answer well and Felix quickly looks at him, eyes widened slightly "No, that's not what I meant, our paths crossing so weirdly is what's bizarre" Felix shakes his hand in front of his face and Hyunjin bites back a smile

he doesn't say anything else, doesn't ask or answer so the blue-haired turns to look ahead. Silence hangs for a short second between them before Hyunjin asks "Why did you call me?" His voice blends nicely with the sound of trees rustling in the near distance as Felix looks down at the pavement beneath them "Just...needed a distraction" He couldn't find a lie, couldn't think of an excuse and he also didn't want to keep Hyunjin in the dark so he spoke honestly, unaware of the pang that left on Hyunjin's heart. The blond finds anger rushing in him at the way his stupid heart had reacted, how it stopped beating for a near second as he grits his teeth and looks away from Felix

staring ahead with his eyes darkened and angry "Distraction?" he wasn't going to say anything but his tongue slipped like it often does around Felix and the blue-haired sighs "I...yes, distraction" Hyunjin could've said more but he chose not to, instead he slipped his hand in his coat's pocket and took out a cigarette, nearing it against his lips and lightening it up. They remain quiet, the only sound being of nature and their shoes against the road. Felix feels guilty for having stated it that way but it shouldn't matter, right? it wasn't as though they were close or anything, he tried assuring himself.

Hyunjin takes a strong whiff and offers the slender stick to Felix, who looks at the cigarette in Hyunjin's hand, then up at him, and then shakes his head no "I've already had five, I couldn't have more" He gulps and fights the desire rising within him to take just a small hit but he ignorea it. Puffs of smoke dance around them, their bodies passing by flickering and saturated street lamps, soft clouds hanging in the ebony sky alongside glimmering stars, the wind is cold but not so much that it would make their teeth chatter

It's nice and quiet, and Felix doesn't realize but just by Hyunjin's company, the thought of his ex-lover had been lost somewhere in the back of his mind because what he was fixated on was Hyunjin's expensive perfume and how it smelt when mixed with smoke "Heading home?" Hyunjin breaks the silence, though still a bit bitter about being called a distraction he doesn't let it bruise his ego and makes up an excuse for the rational part of his brain that asked him to insult Felix back 'We don't know each other, he wanted to fuck likely, it's nothing much' he assured the taunting thoughts and soon enough, he made peace with himself and Felix's words
