A debauched-looking Felix stands in front of the mirror of his bathroom, staring at himself and finding nothing looking back at him but an empty shell. As he looks deeper into his own eyes he finds that the void within him has grown deeper. He has to get ready for his job but for some reason, he can't move even an inch of his body since everything seems to make him want to curl up in bed and never wake up. Last night hadn't gone as he had planned or prayed to be, when he'd met eyes with a fair-looking gentleman he was pulled into a web of conversation he wanted no part of.

Fake smiles and bored chatter, it wasn't what he was looking for, he just wanted something quick and sparkling, something fiery and tense. But the man didn't seem to share his interests and he had no choice but to play along because in the entire bar, there was nobody even remotely close to his type, and that's how he found himself dancing along to whatever tedious instrument the other was playing

When the man had finally insinuated about going somewhere private, Felix had been lightening on his feet because heavens know how desperately tired and sick to his stomach he was becoming with the constant chatter of the stranger and the pain of his ex's memories. Though he was majorly disappointed and nothing could have prepared him for this letdown. The man was attractive, maybe not as enough as his ex and the stranger he'd slept with the night earlier but he was still very attractive

Though, unfortunately, his charming looks didn't stop Felix's wretched heart from calling out to his past lover in the middle of intercourse, even after the man had told him his name. It was awkward but Felix didn't notice anything because he was too busy holding back his tears and not making the already worse situation further complicated. It was normal and the man had been kind enough to not bring it up once they were done, all he said as he got ready to leave was a compliment toward Felix's way and with that he'd disappeared.

Now, the next morning, Felix finds himself overcome with agony and despair, he cannot go on longer like this, he wishes for all his pain to perish but the tomb just won't close and he's also forgetting it's not been long enough since his lover left him and it will inevitably take a while. A sigh withers from his lips when he runs a hand through his tangled hair, shutting his eyes and throwing his head back because everything hurts and he doesn't wish to move a limb

On the front of his shut lids appears the face of Chan and he is pushed to tear up yet again, sniffling and opening his eyes as he stands straight again, gazing back at the mirror, yet before he can bounce back from this sudden overcoming of grief, a vision flashes across his mind and changes the trajectory of his mood

A face

A handsome one to be specific, sharp and pretty, dripping with sweat. Eyes dark, lips curved in a deadly smirk. The face of the man Felix has been having a hard time forgetting. With the sight of his face comes the remembrance of his touch, his mouth against Felix's skin, his low growls, the way he had whispered "pretty" with nearly every sentence he spoke. It all came like a hurling storm and resided in Felix's stomach until his cheeks flaming red

Felix may never see him again, but he sure as day left an indelible memory behind.

"What about your job? you can't be hitting bars every fucking day and getting wasted, Felix" That's what Seungmin's voice said from the other side of the line, yet instead of knocking sense in Felix's mind it only made him roll his eyes "I took a sick leave from work, it's fine" Felix sighed and slunk back in the seat "A sick leave?" Seungmin's voice sounded a little hesitant and Felix could tell he was collecting his thoughts and the correct words. He only sighed again, knowing his friend was weighing his next statement while he situated himself comfortably in the back of a taxi
