Ch 13 answers

Skyler and Jason made it to class before the bell rang, stepping into the gym. Jason's eyes sparkled, but Skyler shook her head. "sSorry Jason, we won't be dancing today." Jason's shoulders slumped.
"But I like dancing with you,." Hhe rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Skyler smiled shyly. "I like dancing with you, too,." Sshe admitted, makin and it made Jason smile.
Skyler scanned the gym, she biting her lip when she couldn't see anyone.
Jason tapped her shoulder. "What are you looking for?", he asked.

Skyler sighed. Jason wasn't going to like this. "I'm looking for Peter." Jason stiffened. "Can't we do anything without that grump?" Hhe muttered, folding his arms. Skyler stifled a smile. It was cute when he got all grumpy.
"Yes, but, no. I promised him that I would tell him the truth, too,." Sshe rolled her eyes.

Wrapping her arms around him in a hug, making him blush. "He is just my friend,." Sshe prompted. Jason pouted. "fFine." Skyler's gaze softened. She felt bad for the boy. He had a huge crush on her, and here she was begging to bring along another guy. He was bound to be anxious.

With a smile, Skyler grabbed his arm and pulled it around her shoulders. "Is this okay?" Sshe teased. Jason blinked, caught off guard but he nodded. wWhen a girl treatsed a boy a certain way, it could turn the most outgoing teen into a shy mess!

Skyler scanned the room again. Her face lit up when she found him.
Peter was sitting down on the red bleachers, a blue jacket on. His clothes made him blend in so she hadn't seen him the first time. "Peter!" She waved with her free hand and Jason tightened his grip on her shoulders. Skyler let him. She didn't mind it, to be honest, and she wanted him to feel like he had some control of the situation. The boys needed to learn to get along after all.

Peter turned his head and looked at them. He gave a slight smile and got to his feet. When he made it over to them he folded his arms. "Are we going to talk about this?" He smirked pointedly, gesturing at Jason's arm around her. Skyler's face flushed. "Nope,." Sshe replied quickly. "But you know how I told you about the man I saw?"
Peter nodded curiously. Skyler did the same. "It's time you guys got answers." She glanced at Jason. To her dismay, he was looking at Peter with narrowed eyes.
Skyler elbowed him gently. Jason sighed and stopped glaring.
Peter leaned forward. "I see you've figured it out?" Hhe whispered. Peter gave a pointed nod at Skyler.
Jason stiffened. "What?" Hhe asked gruffly. Skyler sighed, studying his face for a moment. She smiled fondly at her friend. "Maybe,." Sshe winked at the Jason. He blinked in surprise. Peter chuckled at their reactions.

The blonde folded his arms again. "So, when are we gonna get those answers you promised us?" Hhe asked pointedly. Skyler smirked to herself. "Oh, I know a guy."
Peter and Jason exchanged a glance, confused.
"Do you know what she is talking about?" Peter frowned. Jason shook his head. "Nope, just as clueless as you are."
Skyler grinned. "You are pretty clueless,." Sshe teased. Jason gaped in mock offense. "Hey!" Hhe laughed.
Skyler smiled slyly when the class walked through the door.
She flinched at Ella's gasp.
She was staring at Jason's arm, still draped across Skylers shoulders.

Skyler didn't budge. Now the blonde knew that she had a crush on Jason. Though, Skyler didn't mind it too much. Something like this was bound to come out sooner or later. Besides, the best things in life are meant to be shared.

She made her way towards Kash.
To Jason's amazement, She stopped the bully from entering the gym, blocking the entrance. Standing in front of him, she smirked. The black haired boy had a large, purple bruise around his eye.
He would always remember their fight now.
Kash took a step back. "What do you want?" He eyed her wearily. "You and your boyfriend can just get out of here." He rolled his eyes.
Jason blushed when Skyler didn't deny the comment.
Skyler took a step towards him. "Where is Jaimey?" She demanded. Kash folded his arms. "Who's Jaimey? What are you talking about?" Hhe bluffed.
Skyler fizzed with annoyance. "You know exactly who I am talking about! Take me to your sister!" Sshe raised her voice.
Kash glared. "I don't have to take you anywhere,." Hhe scoffed.
Skyler popped her knuckles. "Would you like it better if I gave you another black eye to match the one you have?" Sshe threatened. Kash's eyes widened. "Fine! Just, don't,." Hhe looked at her uneasily. Skyler nodded,. "Deal." Jason and Peter looked at each other bewildered. "What's up with pPrince Trash?"
Jason had called the bully that for years. Peter raised his eyebrows. Skyler shrugged as they followed Kash down the hall. "You could say that he may have gotten on my nerves and I may have fought back,." Sshe smirked. "So now he has a souvenir,." Sshe said, referringed to the bully's black eye. Jason gasped. "That iwas from you? Dang!" Skyler blushed when he praised her. "I was wrong, I guess you can protect yourself just fine!" He exclaimed. Skyler smiled. "Maybe, but I like it better when you protect me,." Sshe said flirtatiously. Jason grinned. She could tell he appreciated the comment. Peter rolled his eyes. "Lovebirds,." Hhe teased.
Skyler rolled her eyes and Jason chuckled nervously at the phrase. They said something else but Skyler had stopped paying attention.
