Jason woke with a stretch, admiring his shirtless chest in the mirror with a satisfied grin. Believe it or not, having a girlfriend gave men a huge confidence boost. Especially when the girl had been rejecting him most of the time they had known each other. In a way, It was almost like his life mission had been completed. They weren't officially together but he was planning to pop the question soon. Not like a marriage proposal but -

He put a hand on his chest, wondering what it would be like if she saw him like this. He bit his lip, imagining his crush swooning at his non-existent abs. it didn't matter that he wasn't much of an exerciser. She would still be excited to see more of him. He tried to reassure himself.
Suddenly the door to his room swung open and a beautiful girl with long brown hair barged in, slamming him into the wall. She had him pinned against the corner and he gulped. "Skyler?" He breathed, heart pounding. She didn't answer, instead placing her hand under his chin, stroking his jaw with her thumb. The action caused him to quiver with surprise and he tried to swallow the embarrassment. "What are you doing here?" He spluttered.
Skyler gave a hurt look. "What? am I not allowed to see my handsome boy whenever I feel like it?" She pouted sarcastically. Jason was still just trying to process what was happening. "Of course not." He fumbled. "I mean of course?" He blushed. "You know what I mean." He finally gave up.

Skyler shifted her focus from his face and a smirk tugged at the corner of her mouth. "Wow bluejay."
She breathed. "Where's your shirt?" She laughed slightly. It didn't matter that she was wearing a black, oversized T-shirt. She could wear anything and Jason would still see her as the most stunning girl in the world.
Jason's face flushed and he chuckled nervously. "Oh this? I just woke up I should um now that I think about it I should probably go change." He offered pathetically.
Skyler shook her head. "You're no fun." Jason blinked. "I huh?"
She placed her hand over his pounding heart and ran them down to his side, fingers curled below his chest and pulled him closer. The sensation of Her hands on his bare skin was making him go crazy.

He gulped, resisting. "Are you sure a-about this?" He finally blurted. She leaned forward until her face was mere inches away from his and all he could do was stare as her lips closed over them. His eyes flew shut and he wrapped a hand around her head, fingers tangled in her luxurious hair.
The girl pulled away.
"Wow Skyler I-" Jason opened his eyes but she was gone.

He blinked in confusion, scanning the room.
His brows furrowed in realization. "It was so real." He murmured. His hallucinations had gotten worse. The other day in class Jason had daydreamed of Skyler sitting next to him flirting, he woke up to find the guy next to his desk staring at him. "Should I be concerned?" He exclaimed. Jason gave a confused look.
"You called me your little kitten." He seemed embarrassed.
Jason still felt mortified by the whole experience and he shuddered, trying to get his mind reconnected with reality.

Skyler hadn't left his mind. She was everywhere. Each daydream had left him more breathless. He still couldn't believe that he had such an irresistible girl.
He absentmindedly touched his lips, wondering how he could have dreamed such a realistic kiss without actually knowing what it felt like to kiss someone. It was true. Jason had always been more focused on his crush. Though he had plenty of opportunities to have his first kiss. There had been others interested in him. very pretty women.

One time the most popular girl in kindergarten had waltzed up to him all princess like, flipping her blonde hair. She had asked him to join her for lunch but at that moment a tiny Skyler had walked out the classroom door and he just ran towards her, leaving the little girl without saying anything.
As he got older nothing changed.
The sixth grade red head who everybody knew had a crush on him had found him wandering the soccer fields aimlessly. He had been replaying a moment from Skyler in his head. She had followed him into the art room and he was sure he impressed her.
The red head had fluttered her lashes and looked up at him with beautiful blue eyes.
"Wanna go somewhere?" She had asked, grabbing his hand, but Jason had just stared at her blankly, making excuses.
he had no idea that was the day Skyler had stopped persueing him. Because she had seen him holding hands with another girl.
