Here is a chill slice-of-life type chapter.

I heard that people like other P.O.V., so here is one of the crybaby.

__________

Utahime

Ugh, a first mission, and it's a pain in the ass. "Mei Mei, does this hallway even end?"

Mei Mei is a grade-one scammer who cares about nothing other than money. It just so happens that she was the one assigned for my first official mission as a grade two sorcerer.

Ignoring my worries, all she does is look at her watch. "With how long we've been here, I say we have moved between 12-15k."

A tick mark appears on my forehead. "Do you calculate everything in how much money you make? If you haven't noticed, we're stuck here!"

With a small smile, she replies, "Now, now, don't worry. The cursed spirit overlaps space on itself, giving the illusion of infinite space."

I send her a side glance. "So you can be helpful."

Rather than seeming offended, her smile raises. "These are tricky, but since the walls are impenetrable, we should split up to become unpredictable so the spirit can't keep up the barrier."

The area around us becomes unstable before we start to see...sand? The walls start to dissolve; however, I notice something wrong.

My cursed energy. It's gone!

Looking over to Mei Mei, she has a rare expression of surprise before the walls break, and we can see many people.

Covering my eyes from the light, I see a smile...

One that I hated. "GOJO! You scared the hell out of me! Even Mei Mei nearly had a heart attack!"

He started to look offended before returning to his shit-eating grin. "Why are you getting mad at me? I would never use a domain expansion on a professional sorcerer and a crybaby~."

Then I turn around and see another familiar face with a tired expression. "Naohiro, did you really have to exorcise the curse? You know a powerful curse could've helped me out."

After that, the man in question only has a smile with his hands together. "I haven't used it in so long, but I finally got the chance. I'm not just going to let this opportunity slide by. Since you both forgot a curtain, I did the courtesies so the old man wouldn't get pissed. I feel like I earned this one."

Is there anyone here that isn't annoying...SHOKO!

My face lights up as I run up and hug Shoko. "SHOKO! Please tell me you aren't like them. I feel like you are the only one here who can understand me!"

Shoko waves at me with a smile. "Yo, you've been gone for two days. We got worried for you, so we were sent out here. Don't worry; I'm the normal one in this group of idiots."

Mei Mei speaks up. "Two days huh? I better add that to the bill."

I glance at Mei Mei then it clicks with me. "TWO DAYS!? WE WERE IN THERE FOR 30 MINUTES!"

Gojo spoke up. "Curses that distort time aren't common, but it is possible. I'm surprised since Mei Mei was here with you."

Mei Mei huffed out air with a small smile. "Well, I have to make a living somehow."

Your 'living' is extortion! A grade-one sorcerer doesn't need to extort people!

Naohiro walks over and speaks. "So you're Mei Mei? I've heard about you."

She keeps her smile. "What have you heard?"

He smirked. "That you are one of the worst people to work with since you charge an absurd amount and that you're a grade one. You're more famous for the amount of money you charge."

Mei Mei crosses her arms. "Well, I expect to get paid for my work."

Nodding, he replies before reaching his hand out. "I respect that. Naohiro Zenin, second year."

She looks a little shocked for some reason but accepts the handshake. "That domain of yours gave me quite the scare there. I thought that we were going to be stuck in there for a while after I lost my cursed energy. I don't say this often, but thanks."

My mouth dropped. "You can thank people!?"

She raised an eyebrow but kept the smirk. "What kind of person do you take me for? I'm not an ungrateful, money-hungry scammer or anything."

Violence is never my go-to, but some people deserve a punch to the face. "So you're aware of it."

She shrugs her shoulders with a closed-eyed smile. "I'm not sure what you're talking about."

Why couldn't my cursed technique allow me to hit something? Admittedly, this situation is much better than being inside a never-ending hallway for days.

I flop my head back. "Why does my first mission after graduating have to suck!? First, I get stuck with Mei Mei, and then I have to be 'saved' by three idiots and an angel."

Why do they have to be so annoying? Even now, when I'm an official sorcerer who has graduated, they all look at me as if I'm still a child.

*Inhale* *Exhale* It's only this once, and then you can return to normal. I won't be working with Mei Mei for the long term and won't have to see these three anytime soon.

My thoughts get broken as Geto speaks up. "Well, then, since you both are alright, we should get back to Jujutsu High to make sure that we won't be chewed out for being 'late.'"

Gojo mumbled something, but I couldn't catch it.

Naohiro then waved. "Well then, nice meeting you, Mei Mei, and I guess seeing you Utahime."

I stomp. "What the hell is that supposed to mean!? Do you and Gojo like pissing me off?"

Gojo and Naohiro looked at each other. "Yes." "Absolutely."

If I spend another second here, my head will explode, so I start walking out of the curtain.

If this is going to be my new life as a sorcerer, you can count me out. Working with Gojo a single time made me want to punch him. A future where I'm constantly hearing that stupid voice would be hell.

I'm a dancer, not a fighter!
