It didn't take much time for Yuji to receive a call from Naoto's number. Mayumi didn't have direct access to Yuji's information, so she used Naoto's wristband to give him an earful.

No matter how strong someone is, a nagging mother will always leave a devastating blow. Even when Yuji turned down the volume, she had still dealt damage to the king of Jujutsu.

Yuji rubbed his ears. "How can someone be so loud at 1% volume?"

"Was that Naohiro's kid?" A voice came from Yuji's left. "Haven't seen her in a while. I might stop by to say hello."

Yes, Gojo woke up after Mayumi started ranting.

Yuji turned around to see Gojo sitting up on the bed, holding his head up with his left palm. With his help, Gojo woke up sooner, but he still wanted to sleep.

Gojo scratched his head in irritation. "Damnit, how embarrassing. I talk big and then pass out like a bum."

Yuji sighed. "That's what happens when you injure your brain as a 97-year-old man." He glanced back up at Gojo. "At least you've got an idea about your current limits."

Gojo clenched his hand. "Output is the same, but my body is more sensitive." He looked down at the floor. "Limits, huh..."

His eyes closed before a wide smile appeared on his face. "If I've got limits, then I simply need to bypass them." Then, his eyes snapped open as he held his chin with his hand and furrowed his eyebrows. "Wait, does that mean that it wasn't a limit if I break it?"

Yuji just gave him a deadpan expression. "I would say I'm surprised, but knowing you, I'm not. In any case, we'll continue after you res-"

"Nah, I'm already good," Gojo said as he cut off Yuji while standing up and stretching as if he hadn't just suffered brain damage.

Yuji mumbled to himself. "It's like dealing with a child." Despite speaking to himself, Gojo heard him loud and clear, to which Gojo returned a wide smirk.

Instead of entertaining more of his shenanigans, Yuji's expression turned serious. "Then, let's get started."

Gojo punched his palm with a battle-hungry smile. "Let's take it from the top."

Three days had passed in the blink of an eye.

The tension in the air could be felt even by non-sorcerers. After all, the Naunax finally appeared in the sky, alerting the locals. Paranormal events were commonplace in Japan, and its denizens were accustomed to them. Still, a massive ship holding 50,000 aliens was above and beyond what was considered normal in the new age.

Inside the Naunax was anything but calm. If they waited another day, Jabaloma was convinced his fellow Simurians would already be on their way to invade Earth.

"The Earthling's Jujutsu is vastly different from ours. Be wary of any tricks that they might pull." Cross solemnly spoke to Dabura.

Cross was just as uneasy as the rest of the Simurians, considering that his brother Marulu still hadn't awoken from his coma. Since Cross was one of the stronger Simruians, he could handle the 'Kalyan' deaths better than his brethren.

Dabura glanced to his side at Cross. "You need not worry. Since when have I ever lost?"

Cross's eye twitched, recalling Dura's duel against Dabura. While they were allies now, Cross was still pained when he was reminded of Dabura's undefeated record.

He sighed. "Just watch out for that white-haired sorcerer that I mentioned."

Cross's unease wasn't in Dabura losing, but the future of their people after he had won. Killing a single sorcerer wouldn't stop an entire society from killing cursed spirits, so there was likely to be a small-scale war or culling after the fact.
