Sleeping that night was nearly impossible. My mind wouldn't shut up, It felt as if I had reached a fork in the road and had no idea which way to go. One path led to Tyler, and despite my anger at him for avoiding me, I couldn't stop thinking about his kiss. The other path led to Alec, whose blue gaze had pulled me under, leaving me no hope of being saved.
What's happening to me? My mind kept drifting from one guy to the next, even daring to imagine them both at once. The tent in my pajama pants was impossible to ignore. Suddenly, the sound of my window creaking open made me tense with fright. My gaze shot to the window, where I spotted Tyler climbing into my room.I stared at him in shock, my eyes wide. "Tyler, what are you doing here?" I whispered, careful not to alert anyone else.
"I needed to see you," he breathed, his heartbeat so intense it felt palpable. My mind drifted back to earlier in the day, recalling how he had avoided me. "You ignored me all day," I said, my tone icy.
"I'm sorry," he murmured, his expression softening with regret as his shoulders slumped. The anger I'd held onto evaporated instantly. "It's cool," I said, my voice sounding hurt.
"It's not," he replied firmly, stepping closer. "I was scared of what wanting to kiss you meant... but I can't stop wanting it." His words sent a flush of heat through me, his gaze lingering on me in a way that made me swallow hard.
"Tyl-" was all I could manage before he closed the gap between us, pressing his lips to mine. A low growl rumbled from him, sending waves of electricity through my body. I reached up, stroking his cheek, my fingers brushing against the roughness of his stubble. His hands traveled down, cupping my ass as he squeezed, drawing a moan from deep within me.
He pulled back from the kiss, his lips trailing down my neck as he sucked and kissed my skin with a passion that made my head fall back and my eyes flutter shut. His kisses moved up to my ear, where he gently nipped at my earlobe before whispering in a deep, seductive voice that sent me spiraling.
Tyler's eyes were dark with intensity as he looked at me, his voice dropping to a low, almost desperate whisper. "I want you."
I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. "I want you too," I managed to say, but there was something in his tone that told me this was more than just words.
Tyler leaned in closer, his voice growing deeper, more urgent. "No, Lucas... I want you." His eyes flicked downward, and instinctively, I followed his gaze. My breath caught in my throat when I saw the bulge straining against his shorts, his arousal painfully obvious.
"Tyler..." I started, my voice shaky, but he looked back up at me, and the raw hunger in his expression made my stomach twist with both fear and excitement.
"I've never done... anything," I admitted, the confession tumbling out before I could stop it. Tyler's lips curled into a smirk, his eyes softening just a bit.
