Location: Human village
26th July, 1633, 5:30 AM

American soldiers found themselves in a bustling town, it would be a lie to call this a village. This is a literal town. Dyle look around for a bit, he bought one of the newspaper and continue walking.

"Sergeant, are you seriously going to buy that?" His mate asked him with some sort of concerns.

"Of course! We can't lose track of what's going on out there. Though, we only been stationed here for a week or so but still"

He read the content on the newspaper, it's read:

"Decisive battle at Wasat Isles and conclusion of the greatest naval battle ever recorded!"

"What the hell is going on out there?" He talk to himself.

It retelling the whole battle of Balkan sea, an annihilation for Milishian navy and such. He couldn't believe there would this kind of big war going on, a world war?

"What is it, Sergeant?" Led asked him.

"Look at this" He handed him the newspaper.

"What kind of... They got a whole freaking world war out there dude!"

"Look like we were lucky to be here, to say the least" He sighed.

Led snatch the newspaper from his hand to give it a good read. In the mean time, he feel unease having these people looking at him like they are some aliens, well, maybe that's true but he still doesn't like it.

"Where is that shrine maiden?"

He look around, or atleast, he tried. So many people are in his way that it's blocking his view. No way he could do anything about this. He need to bring this shrine maiden to the base as soon as possible, it's unlikely that this mission could be delay later into the day so he feel the need to hurry. Crowd after crowd, he starting to wonder if festival was held here, there is no way it could be this lively.

He check his watch, the sweats drop after he realized that it is already 5:40 AM. Incredible how time went by so fast.

"Come on, Led. Tell the other to go to the car quickly. Our deadline is at 6" He tells Led, placing the faith and pray that he reach the base in time.

It isn't always the best thing to hear your commander's preaching. He grim at the thought of getting punishes right infront of the new recruits seeking to experience this fantasy land. Several Japanese samurais lookalike walked pass them, he is informed by the locals that, these are the guard that protect and keep law and order in place at the village.

Finally, at last, his eyes could see the village's gate. Not wasting any time further, he immediately jump at the gate. The other squad mates that decided to stay outside the village have already packed up, he turn around, seeing the other making their way also.

"What's time is it now?" He asked, reaching for the humvee.

"About 5:47" Mike replied, frowning, not know what to say in a situation like this.

"Bullshit! Are you for real?" He screamed at him for confirmation.

"For real, real"

Mike continue to look at his watch while saying that dreadful words. The expression on the other squad members is petrified, arriving late at work is one thing but in the military, it is a whole another level. Led and the other two run up to the gate, exhausted. Dyle shout for them to jump into the humvee.

"Led! Where is that girl!?" Dyle shouted.

"Hell if I know?!" Led confusedly reply back.

"She's coming! Probably like, 30 seconds out!" Another person give an answer he needed.
