I woke up in Cole's arms the next morning and he stirred as I lifted my head. He kissed my forehead. It had been a few days since I returned home from hospital and I had made a full recovery, aside from some occasional dizzy spells which weren't often.

We had decided to take a weekend away, a treat before the season started in the next few days. I could sense that Cole was nervous about the season starting, but he masked it well in interviews. Their first game was against City so Cole was feeling a little nervous about playing against his former club.

We were already packed and I made sure to pack for all weather, it was expected to be dry and sunny but there was always a chance of rain in England. Most of my clothes were Cole's hoodies but I still had a lot of my own.

We were going to Cornwall, and staying in a bed and breakfast for 3 nights. It was now Friday and we were coming home monday night. I wished it could be longer but I knew Cole had to be home in time for the start of the season. He wasn't the only one that was excited for the season. I had only been to a few chelsea games when I could but I planned to go to nearly all of them this season.

I knew Maya would be joining me and I hoped it would give us an opportunity to meet some of the other girlfriends of the players. We had only met one or two on a night out and it was only a brief meeting, only a few words were exchanged and then they left.

Cole and I were getting ready to leave. Well, he was turning everything off while I sat on the sofa watching tiktok. He was still acting like a bodyguard, being overprotective and didn't let me leave his side for the past week, scared that I might be attacked or something. I laughed at his silliness but the idea of him worrying about me was comforting and made me feel warm.

I wasn't dressed up fancy or anything, I had some joggers and a tank top, not bothering with makeup and decided to do my makeup when we arrived at the air b&b. We didn't have any set plans for the weekend, I knew Cole had booked a fancy restaurant for Saturday evening but that was about it.

The drive down was filled with karaoke and lots of singing, we stopped off at the services for a McDonald's breakfast. I stuffed my face with 2 hashbrowns and a flatbread. Cole offered me his hashbrown and I gladly accepted, McDonald's hashbrowns were to die for.

As much as he didn't want to accept it, Cole loved to sing to all the white girl music. I recorded him a few times, saving them to my camera and making a mental note to send them to the groupchat later.

We made a few more stops for toilet breaks along the way. The drive was around 5 hours and we arrived outside the house at half 4. We decided to just get to know the house instead of exploring the town. The house was large and the bedroom was gorgeous. It was white and linen and would make a perfect background for some insta pics which is exactly what I did. Well, Cole was my photographer.

We found a small, secluded restaurant to have dinner in and we scanned through the menu, looking for something to eat. We gave eachother a look and Cole sighed.

"I don't like the look of anything here"

I nodded in agreement and we stood up abruptly and left. We giggled as we laughed at how picky we are with food and decided to order in a Chinese. Everyone allowed a cheat day right?

Cole and I sat in the bedroom, both of us scrolling aimlessly through our phones until he put his down and stole mine out my hand, holding it above his head.

"Coleeee don't be annoying give it back"

I kneeled to try and reach his hand but his arms were too long. I lost my balance and fell on top of him, leaving us in a heep on the end of the bed.

He leaned in and I felt his breath against my neck. He trained down leaving hot kisses on my skin. His hands trailed up my shirt but I lightly pushed him off

"Cole we can't... not here. Other people sleep in this bed"

He realised my point and nodded, still acting like a child and pouting. I giggled at his childish actions and he smiled. We stayed looking into eachothers eyes for a moment before he cleared his throat.

"So.. um we should probably sleep soon"

I snapped out of my trance and walked to the bathroom to get changed. I knew he had seen all of me but I still felt shy getting changed around him.

I walked back out the bathroom in just his shirt and some cycling shorts. He blushed at the sight of me in his clothes and I smiled to myself, knowing the effect I had on him.

We laid down and he pulled my waist into him so our faces were just millimeters apart. He drew patterns on my back and I felt myself sway in and out of sleep.

I looked up into his eyes and my heart fluttered with the eye contact

"Cole I think im falling for you, I love you more than you could ever know"

I was taken aback by my own words, shocked at how upfront I was being with him. I had never been good with emotions and words and I could see that Cole was taken aback too.

"I know I've fallen for you Sienna, I love you too"
